Abstract： Based on an actual engineering case, this paper analyzes a large number of on-site measured monitoring data to obtain the laws of the deep soil horizontal displacement, axial force of supports, surface subsidence and so on under the construction of the foundation pit. During the actual construction process, the deep horizontal displacement of the soil is increasing while the depth of the foundation pit is growing, and the location of the maximum value of the deep horizontal displacement is also declining. The curve presents a “big belly” pattern. The axial force of the supporting shaft also increases with the construction of the foundation pit, and the additional second support effectively relieves the axial force of the first support. However, the axial force of both supports increases at a rapid rate until the project is over. Surface subsidence and the displacement of surrounding pipeline also continued to increase under construction. The conclusion of this project can provide a reference for similar projects.
