  • Forecasting solar still performance from conventional weather data variation by machine learning method

Subjects: Energy Science >> Energy Science (General) submitted time 2022-05-30

    Abstract:

Solar stills are considered an effective method to solve the scarcity of drinkable water. However, it is still missing a way to forecast its production. Herein, it is proposed that a convenient forecasting model which just needs to input the conventional weather forecasting data. The model is established by using machine learning methods of random forest and optimized by Bayesian algorithm. The required data to train the model is obtained from daily measurements lasting 9 months. To validate the accuracy model, the determination coefficients of two types of solar stills are calculated as 0.935 and 0.929, respectively, which are much higher than the value of both multiple linear regression (0.767) and the traditional models (0.829 and 0.847). Moreover, by appling the model, it is predicted that the freshwater production of four cities in China. The predicted production is approved to be reliable by a high value of correlation (0.868) between the predicted production and the solar insolation. With the help of the forecasting model, it would greatly promote the global application of solar stills.

  • Small Signal Stability Analysis of Grid-connected Equipment in Power System (Part II):Discussion on Deriving Mechanism and Classification of Stability

Subjects: Dynamic and Electric Engineering >> Electrical Engineering submitted time 2022-05-29

    Abstract:

From the perspective of stability equivalence, nominal performance and robustness, the qualitative principles and quantitative evaluation index of stability criterion adaptation are proposed in Part Ⅰ. In addition, the adaptation of the existing stability criteria and the physical interpretation of instability corresponding to the suitable stability criterion are analyzed for the typical equipment in power system, such as synchronous machines, doubly-fed induction generators (DFIG) and converters in Part II. Thereby the stability classification of the renewable power system is discussed based on dominant output variable. Firstly, aiming at low-frequency and sub-synchronous oscillation/resonance (SSO/SSR) of synchronous machine, the rationality of the existing stability analysis methods and physical interpretation is verified by using the proposed evaluation index. Secondly, the proposed evaluation index is used to analyze the oscillation of converters and DFIG, and the suitable stability criterion, derivation mechanism and dominant output variable are further discussed. Finally, a novel idea of equipment stability classification based on physical mechanism and dominant output variables are proposed, which classifies equipment stability from the vector perspective into three categories: phase-dominated synchronous stability, amplitude-dominated voltage stability, and electrical resonance formed by their special combination. Issues such as the concept of wide-band oscillation, the distinction between equipment stability and system stability, and the extensibility of their classification are further explored.

  • Collective psychological ownership, status conferral criteria and team creativity

Subjects: Psychology >> Management Psychology submitted time 2019-01-29

Abstract: " Collective psychological ownership has been studies as the latest issue in the field of psychology. Existing studies have not yet explored the mechanism of how collective psychological ownership affects team creativity. This study aims to address the above gaps by examining whether, when and how Collective psychological ownership has impacted on team creativity. Based on the Motived Information Processing in Group Model, this paper first empirically explores the mechanism of collective psychological ownership on team creativity. This study theorizes that collective psychological ownership could affect information elaboration, and in turn enhanced team creativity. At the same time, criteria for status promotion would moderated the positive relationship that collective psychological ownership affects team creativity through information elaboration. In order to test our hypothesized model, we invited 101 Knowledge–based team leaders and their 800 subordinates who came from 16 big companies located in Wuhan, Zhengzhou and Guangzhou to participate in this research survey. In the end, we got 91 leader–followers dyads. As for scale to measure criteria for status promotion, we learned from Liu et al. (2013) measurement method of how to measure criteria for status promotion. Also, we adopte two items which are Adapted from the scale of Pierce et al (2004) to measure collective psychological ownership ,as well as other measurements were well–established scales. Confirmatory factor analyses showed satisfactory model fit indices. Inter–rated agreement(Rwg) and intra–class correlation (ICC) value justified the aggregation of team information elaboration, Collective psychological ownership, Relationship conflict, Team Learning Behavior and Team Creativity. A hierarchical regression analysis method is adopted to test the hypothesized model. Results showed that collective psychology ownership has a positive impact on team creativity, and information elaboration mediates the relationship between collective psychological ownership and team creativity. Criteria for status promotion moderates the relationship between collective psychological ownership and information elaboration. However, criteria for status promotion does not significantly moderates the relationship between collective psychological ownership and team creativity through information elaboration. The present research makes some contributions to the Existing literature. First, by examining the positive effect of Collective psychological ownership on team creativity, this research proves the effectiveness of Collective psychological ownership beyond past literatures. Second, this study indicates the mediating role of information elaboration as well as its boundary conditions. For the practical implications, this research suggests that strengthening awareness of collective psychological ownership is conducive to the promotion of information elaboration and team creativity, also leaders should realize that criteria for status promotion will lead to different levels of competition, which impacts the relationship between collective psychological ownership and information elaboration. • 基于激活标志位的改进RFID密钥无线生成算法

Subjects: Computer Science >> Integration Theory of Computer Science submitted time 2018-10-11 Cooperative journals: 《计算机应用研究》

Abstract: In the scenario of wireless generation of three common radio frequency identification keys, the security key problem of replay attack, key forgery attack and RFID tag identity ID leakage and the lack of algorithm theory are found in the corresponding key generation algorithms. This paper designed a more secure RFID-based key generation algorithm based on activation flag. The improved algorithm only combined multiple super-lightweight bit operations to construct a secure algorithm framework, which reduced cost and improves efficiency. It used the activation flag ‘AckBit’mechanism and the freshness mechanism to resist replay and key forgery attacks. Through the complete GNY logic proof process and safety comparison analysis, it proved the safety and feasibility of the target algorithm. Finally, This paper presented the comparison of the tag cost between the original algorithm and the improved algorithm, which shows that the improved algorithm has higher security under the condition of satisfying the low cost.
