• Carbon Neutral Transformative Technologies for Industrial Process

    Abstract: Focusing on the four major high carbon emission industries of steel, non-ferrous, chemical industry and building materials, through research and analysis, four low carbon strategies, i.e., green hydrogen/green electricity substitution, raw material/product structure adjustment, process flow re-construction and digital intelligence, are proposed. Combining the current status and the trends of technology development in different industries, a number of advanced low-carbon technologies are suggested, key scientific and technological challenges to be solved are condensed, and suggestions and initiatives to accelerate the application of new technologies and industrial transformation and upgrading are proposed, with a view to providing support for low-carbon and green industrial development.

  • Pollution Control and Carbon Reduction in Whole Industrial Process: Method, Strategy and Scientific Basis

    Abstract: As China’s environmental protection emission standards are becoming stricter and industrial parks are taking shape, problems such as the lack of stable cooperative treatment technology for toxic pollutants and carbon emission reduction, and the high control cost seriously restrict the sustainable development of economic society and the realization of the strategic goal of carbon emission reduction. Guided by the major environmental protection demand of industries, this study put forward the method, strategy and scientific basis of “Synergistic reduce pollution and carbon in the whole process of industry”. Through the coordination of control methods, cross-media, multi-field and multi-factor modeling optimization, the creative discovery of basic science at molecular level was directly linked with engineering research, which provided new scientific support for the synergy reduction of pollution and carbon emission, and contributed theoretical methods to China’s industrial green development.

  • Status of Decentralized Civil Heating Technology in China

    Abstract: The pollution from bulk coal combustion was thought to be one of the main causes of haze weather in northern China, so governments everywhere tried to promote the search for an alternative to civil bulk coal. Specially, so-called “clean energy” was vigorously promoted and coal-to-electricity or natural gas conversion project was implemented in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei metropolitan area, while burning high-quality anthracite and semicoke was encouraged in the surrounding areas, though giving rise to unsatisfactory influence finally. Several typical decentralized civil heating technologies in China were comparatively analyzed in this article. It is suggested that the coal-to-electricity or natural gas conversion project must be on the premise of rich resources, suitable geographic conditions, and high-level economic development as well as conforming to living habits of the local people, among which the economic affordability is one of the key factors to success. In order to solve the pollution problem of bulk coal combustion in remote low-income rural areas thoroughly, a long-term plan should be made to realize clean heating by burning bituminous briquette in environment-friendly domestic furnaces such as decoupling combustion stoves.

  • 产酸丙酸杆菌耐酸菌株的选育及其应用

    Abstract:为了解除微生物发酵生产丙酸过程中代谢产物(丙酸)对菌体生长的抑制作用,以实验室保藏的产酸丙酸杆菌(耐30g/L丙酸)为出发菌株P-0,通过丙酸压力筛选获得了一株耐10g/L丙酸的产酸性能良好的菌株P-10,降低了发酵过程中丙酸对菌体生长的抑制作用。菌株P-10做摇瓶发酵,发酵周期168h,丙酸浓度为49.66 g/L,产酸速率为0.30g/L·h,较出发菌株P-0提高了53.04%;7L发酵罐实验表明,菌株P-10发酵周期168h,丙酸浓度为55.63g/L,产酸速率0.33g/L·h。同时对菌株P-10做二次接种实验,结果表明,84h为二次接种最适时间段,且84h进行二次接种时,丙酸浓度提高了17.77%,二次接种实验不但有利于有机酸的积累,而且可以提高菌株的产酸能力和耐酸能力;经过选育的菌株P-10具有优良的产酸稳定性,有利于菌种的工业化生产和应用,同时对后续的发酵分离耦合具有重要意义。

  • 高载量层析介质的tailor-made策略及在复杂生物大分子分离纯化领域的应用研究

    Abstract: Chromatography has been playing an important role in bioseparation. As one of the main components of chromatography, the structure and properties of chromatographic media have great effects on purification results. Among them, capacity is one of the most important properties to determine chromatographic media’s purification effects, and how to improve the capacity is one of the key points having been paid close attention to in bioseparation. This paper is based on high-capacity agarose-based chromatographic media, with hydrophobic and immobilized metal ion affinity chromatographic media being tailor-made, respectively. For hydrophobic chromatographic media, various lengths of spacer arm were introduced with a controllable hydrophobic property, and the media was used in CHO-rHBsAg purification. rHBsAg binding capacity was greatly improved by this media containing spacer-arms, and rHBsAg recovery was more than 90% and the purification factor was 65.8, both higher than the results from traditional chromatographic media. For immobilized metal ion affinity chromatographic media, dextran molecules were grafted with manipulation and its capacity of His-tagged recombinant proteins was enhanced by 1.5 times than that of traditional media. This novel tailor-made high-capacity chromatographic media is promising for large scale purification of recombinant proteins.

    Abstract: Screening and Application of Acid-resistant Strains of Propionibacterium acidipropionici
