• A New Breakthrough in Localization: Review and Prospect of Physical Literacy Research in The Past Thirty Years

    Abstract: Physical Literacy (PL) refers to the comprehensive ability required to maintain physical activity throughout the life process, and is a lifelong physical education process. In recent decades, the study of physical literacy has become a hot issue in the field of sports science worldwide. Western countries, especially Canada, have taken the lead in the evaluation and application of Physical literacy in the world. This study integrates and analyzes the relevant research literature of physical literacy in the past 30 years, and explores deeply from the historical evolution of concept, dimension analysis of structure attribute, systematic comparison of operation measurement and evaluation and application of physical literacy. By comparing the research progress at home and abroad, this paper puts forward that the evaluation and application system of physical literacy should be developed according to the national conditions, and on this basis, the possible future research directions of physical literacy are prospected.
