Abstract: Objective/Significance The improvement of readers’ reading interest and motivation is one of the important indicators to evaluate the reading promotion effect of university libraries. Reading promotion activities in colleges and universities are mostly simple promotion in the form of reading clubs, ignoring readers’ subjectivity and personalized reading needs. The fixed form and lack of innovation in content make the reading extension service in colleges and universities fall into a bottleneck period of development. Changing the concept of reading promotion service and innovating reading promotion strategy are urgent problems to be solved at present. Method/Process The whole practice process of university reading promotion activities was monitored by means of online literature research, case analysis and data statistics. Taking reader-based thought as the starting point, we introduce the results-oriented (OBE) concept and innovate the reading promotion model. Taking the reading promotion activities of Liaoning Normal University library as an example, the improved reading promotion strategy is applied to design the activity plan, and the effect of reading promotion is verified through concrete practice. Result/Conclusion Through the questionnaire analysis of the reading effect, the effective implementation of the reading promotion strategy of university library based on the improvement of OBE concept has significantly improved in the aspects of satisfying students’ personalized reading needs, enhancing students’ reading interest, and giving full play to readers’ reading subject status. Changing the promotion concept, and innovating the promotion form. deepening the high-quality development of university library reading promotion, and providing effective reference for university library to carry out reading promotion activities.

Abstract: based on the “Practice-pragmatism” educational concept of Yan Yuan, a scholar in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, this paper advocates a Marxist view of reading for all from the perspective of practical theory of “Actions speak louder than words” and “XI speaks louder than words.”, to abandon the history of reading for the sake of reading, the two-legged bookcase can not be transformed into knowledge to understand the world, the transformation of the world's metaphysical mechanistic reading, and call on the experts and scholars to further refine the classification, meaning and characteristics of“Reading”, scientific and effective distinction between“Literature”(writing) and“Contribution”(language) two major carrier of the application and promotion of literature. Abstract: This article systematically examines the starting time of the compilation of the large-scale category book "Integration of Ancient and Modern Books" in the early Qing Dynasty, and distinguishes the common statement in general textbooks and reference books that the compilation began in the 40th year of the Kangxi reign (1701). It proposes historical evidence and argumentative materials that were compiled in the 39th year of the Kangxi reign (1700). Through reasons such as the lack of original historical materials, inconsistent compilation definitions, and the absence of original sources in the citations, etc, This article not only analyzes the root causes of the two starting times, but also proposes a basis that cannot be determined yet. It briefly introduces the value of the book in philology, providing a reference frame for our future in-depth research and application value of the book. It also provides scholars with strict textual research and comparison when citing books and periodicals compiled during the Ming and Qing dynasties. The popularization of knowledge in secondary literature needs to be carefully treated and the original text needs to be checked in a timely manner, Provided practical basis and classic cases.

Abstract: Reflection and experience are dual means of knowing truth. It has been more than 20 years for reading promotion in the new century. Whether it is traditional or new type of reading promotion, it needs to be constantly reflected and abandoned in the process of development, so that we can gain inspiration and guide practice. This paper uses the Frankfurt School's social and cultural critical theory as a cognitive tool, the false needs that readers have already generated, the pseudo-individuation of the case competition, the instrumental rationality and materialization consciousness that data commerce takes as the standard, and the anti-enlightenment of reading promotion from the perspective of the cultural industry. Focusing on the horizon, it reveals the problems existing in my country's reading promotion in the new era and the aspects worthy of the attention of readers and promoters.
