  • Research on the Development Trend of Graduate Cultivation in Library and Information Science in Foreign Schools Under the Background of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] This paper aims to provide guidance for Chinese universities to transfer the talent cultivation modal in order to satisfy the demand of enterprises in the era of big data and artificial intelligence.[Method/process] With online investigation, literature collection and comparative analysis, 10 American universities in the iSchools union were selected as samples. This paper studied and analyzed the theoretical curriculum system, practice education and talent cultivation modal of foreign iSchools members and put forward some suggestions on graduate training model in our country, to promote the reform in our library and information science education.[Result/conclusion] In order to satisfy the social demand, it is the trend to pay attention to the ability of data literacy, the ability of subject fusion and the ability of combining theory with practice in LIS education.

  • Research on the Construction of Topic Evolution Graph for Social Group Information Behavior and Public Opinion during Significant Emergencies

    Abstract: [Purpose/Significance] The study aims to explore the construction of a social group information behavior and public opinion topic graph during significant emergencies. This research helps to better understand the evolution of public opinion during such events and identify sensitive public opinion topics. By doing so, it enables positive public opinion guidance, which plays a crucial role in emergency response and maintaining social stability.  [Method/Process] This paper utilizes Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) to construct a graph for the clustering and evolution of public opinion topics related to social group information behavior. Additionally, it builds a graph depicting the evolution of public opinion topic popularity based on temporal characteristics. Lastly, it constructs a graph illustrating the evolution of public opinion topic paths based on similarity. Furthermore, a process model for constructing the social group information behavior and public opinion topic graph during significant emergencies is presented. [Result/Conclusion] The research results indicate that the proposed analysis model for public opinion topics during significant emergencies effectively analyzes the characteristics of public opinion topics related to social group information behavior on social media. It also identifies factors influencing the popularity of these topics and identifies optimal paths for topic diffusion. This study provides a new theoretical framework and analysis methods for analyzing social group information behavior and public opinion during significant emergencies. It also offers valuable insights for guiding online public opinion and public opinion governance during such events.
     

  • Research on the Thoughts of Information Science Education from Professor Jing Jipeng

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] This paper systematically combined and analyzed the educational thoughts of information science from Professor Jing Jipeng, which will extend and promote the domestic information science education theory and provide reference for the future innovation and development in information science education.[Method/process] Via systematically reviewing professor Jing Jipeng's information science education thoughts through the research methods of Internet survey, literature collection and qualitative interview, we clarified the formation and development of the thoughts of information science education by professor Jing Jipeng and demonstrated the content system. Also according this, we promoted the enlightenment of Jing Jipeng's information science education thoughts to the future information science education in China.[Result/conclusion] The content system of Jing Jipeng's information science education includes multi-level education system based on Chinese context, modular course system for information major and multi-target training system that meets social needs. Meanwhile, using an international perspective to build a multiple talent training model for information science, continuously promote the reform and innovation of information science courses based on social needs and deepen the multidisciplinary integration education in the direction of information engineering were the inspiration during the study.

  • Research on the Developments and Trends of User Information Behavior in Virtual Reality Environment

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] This paper collects and analyzes relevant literatures on user information behavior in virtual reality environment abroad, in order to understand the progress and future research trends of virtual reality in the field of library and information science, and provide reference and inspiration for future academic and industrial research.[Method/process] Using literature analysis and knowledge mapping visualization method, the origin and development of user information behavior in virtual reality environment abroad, foreign research hotspots and future research trends were analyzed and visualized.[Result/conclusion] From the perspective of researching hotspots, foreign research mainly focused on the research of user information acceptance behavior, user adoption behavior and human-computer interaction behavior under virtual reality environment. From the researching trend, future research will more concentrate on user social behavior, user adoption behavior and user reading behavior in virtual reality environment.

  • Evaluation and Empirical Study on the Effect of Internet Rumor Refutation in Public Health Emergencies

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] During the period of public health emergencies, a large number of Internet rumors have produced and they have adverse effects on society and people's lives. The construction of multi-angle rumor refutation effect evaluation index system can provide corresponding guidance for the governance of Internet rumor in public health emergencies in China.[Method/process] In this paper, the evaluation index system was constructed from four dimensions of the main feature, text features, audience feature and background feature, and the index weight was analyzed by the combination of AHP and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. The feasibility of the evaluation index system was verified by empirical analysis, combined with the representative event topic of Weibo rumor refusal platform in the early Covid-19 period.[Result/conclusion] Combined with the empirical research results of "Refute Weibo", the strategies to improve the effect of rumor refutation are obtained from three aspects:choosing authoritative and objective rumor refutation subjects and cooperating to refute rumors, paying attention to the framework setting of rumor refutation information media and guiding the psychological consciousness of rumor refutation audiences.

  • Reversal Model and Simulation of Online Rumor Propagation During Public Health Emergencies

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] During public health emergencies, due to folks' endogenous demand for health information and lack of scientific knowledge of health information, it stimulates the mass media to spread health information, and also provides opportunities for rumors to publish and spread online rumors. Ineffective scientific knowledge and false news will have a serious negative impact on social stability and disrupt social order during the outbreak of epidemics. Therefore, it is very important to build an effective reversal model of online rumor propagation to control the spread of online rumors and reduce its negative impact.[Method/process] The research adopted the theory of scientific knowledge level and the strategy of online rumors reputation, and constructed the SCNDR online rumor reversal model based on SIR model. The Anylogic software was adopted to simulate the SCNDR model, and the sensitivity analysis of the parameters of the model was carried out.[Result/conclusion] The SCNDR model proposed in this study effectively simulates the reversal process of online rumors during public health emergencies. The key factors affecting the reversal efficiency of online rumors are the penetration rate of users' scientific knowledge level, the public time of official information and the conversion efficiency of credulous users.

  • Research on the Training Mode of Big Data Management and Application under the Background of New Liberal Arts

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] Based on the survey of the demand of big data industry under the background of new liberal arts and the analysis of the talent training mode of big data management and application specialty in universities at home and abroad, this paper puts forward the construction mode of big data management and application specialty, and promotes the transfor-mation of talent training mode of professional education to meet the demand of industry for talents.[Method/process] In this study, through online survey, web crawler and comparative analysis, 20 typical universities at home and abroad were selected as samples, and the theoretical curriculum system and practical teaching links of newly-built Big Data Management and Application were compared and analyzed, and the key points, difficulties and pain points in the construction of new major were put forward.[Result/conclusion] This study puts forward the training mode of Big Data Management and Application in New Arts and Sciences University, which is based on cross-border discipline joint training, multi-level education mixed training as a method, new liberal arts laboratory construction as a means, and industry-university collaborative education training as a guide, so as to shape technical, application-oriented and business-oriented big data professionals who meet the needs of new liberal arts background.
