Abstract： [Purpose/significance] Through the definition and evaluation of personal digital information, and the analysis of its classification, preservation methods and potential risks, the article discusses the service model of preservation and management of personal digital information based on libraries, so as to provide reference for domestic libraries developing private customized preservation services. [Method/process] The study systematically has applied the methods of web research and case study, selected the Library of Congress, Campbell County Public Library, the British Library, and Library and Archives Canada, which are early to develop personal digital information preservation and management services with greater social impact, as examples, as well as researched and analyzed their methods and features of the preservation and management service. [Result/conclusion] Depending on the properties of public service organizations inheriting human civilization, the domestic public libraries could take advantage of their years of experience in digital information organization, preservation, management and service, combining with variable characteristics of personal digital information from different perspectives, including privacy levels and data types, to develop more personalized and embedded preservation and management services for personal digital information, especially in the aspects of service objects, services contents, services methods, along with maintenance and management.

Abstract： [Purpose/significance] The research takes the significant data management plan tool, DMPTool, as the object, and analyzes its features for domestic libraries developing research data services. [Method/process] Based on the system test method and literature research, the article reviewed the development history and the research status of DMPTool, analyzed its service basics of templates, examples and resources, service systems of data management plan services, template and resource services, and users' profile services, and service methods for researchers and institutions. The research also summarized the advantages and limitations of DMPTool application in American academic libraries' research data services. [Result/conclusion] DMPTool is compatible with American funders' requirements for data management plans, and is used as important component of research data services by many academic libraries. Though DMPTool cannot be simply introduced into domestic libraries' research data services, its features deserve to be learned.

Abstract： [Purpose/significance] The standardized management, citation and reuse of scientific data has attracted wide attention in academic circles. In this context, a large number of data papers and data journals have emerged to promote the rational use of scientific data. However, data paper has not yet formed a unified and standardized system. The study will summarize and refine the content framework and core modules of data paper published by data journals which are active in the research data publishing field, in order to provide reference for relevant personnel or organizations in writing, use and management of data papers.[Method/process] Comprehensive application of content analysis and comparative research methods, based on the thinking mode of scientific data users in searching, acquiring and reusing research data, and based on the submission guides or writing instructions issued by different data journals, the content framework and core modules of data paper were analyzed from six perspectives, including subject relevance, data quality, data generation and acquisition methods, application scenarios, usage methods and supplementary instructions.[Result/conclusion] At present, there is no submission guide or writing instructions of data journals that can fully cover all modules of data paper; the content composition of data paper is related to and different from that of traditional academic paper; the essential module of content framework of data paper focuses on describing the prominent characteristics of scientific data; a normalized description framework for features of scientific data is still on the way.

Abstract： [Purpose/significance] The application of cloud service in the library can effectively improve the data storage and computing capacity of the library, but it also brings a lot of information resource security problems, and the non-standard cloud computing service agreement aggravates the information security risks faced by the library.[Method/process] This paper focused on the information security clauses in the cloud service agreement, selected 8 cloud services on behalf of the operator's service agreement as a sample, and analyzed the information security risks that exist in the current cloud service agreement terms in depth from data collection, data storage, data transmission, data access and service security.[Result/conclusion] The information security risks that library application cloud services may face include:the lack of cloud service agreement content, the difficulty of obtaining accurate protection of user information security; the vague description of cloud service agreement, the establishment of a sound security guarantee mechanism; the formulation of cloud service agreement are more conducive to cloud providers, so user rights are vulnerable. In this environment, the library should further clarify the ownership of library user data and emphasize the security of library information resources.

Abstract： [Purpose/significance] The open scientific environment puts higher demands on the transparency, rigor and openness of scientific research. In this context, the Registered Reports on emerging publications, which aims to meet the demands, are rising and further promoting the development and evolution of open science. This paper intends to comprehensively introduce the background and development process of the Registered Reports and try to research its main function and core value in promoting the development of open science. [Method/process] Comprehensively used the network research method and content analysis method, the background of the Registered Reports, the development status, content composition, publishing process, main functions and core values were applied to systematically sort out the development of this emerging publication. [Result/conclusion] The outstanding characteristics of the Registered Reports are mainly reflected in 2 aspects:①in terms of content composition, Registered Reports not only includes the final research results, but also requires researchers to elaborate the research plan;②in terms of publishing process, most journals adopt the two-stage publishing form of submitting research plans and research results before and after collecting experimental data. Therefore, it is conducive to reduce the occurrence of publication bias,standardize and innovate the publishing process,and further improve the transparency, reliability and rigor of research results.

Abstract： [Purpose/significance] Since 2007, more than 20 000 journal papers have been published annually in the field of library and information science in China. Taking CNKI records as an example and revealing the topic selection and research characteristics of these journal papers can reflect the current research style in library and information science to a certain extent, and can also provide reference for the researchers of library and information science in China to grasp the development context of the discipline and expand research ideas.[Method/process] This paper applied both of theoretical induction and comparative research methods, combed the current research model of library and information science from 4 perspectives of topic selection, source materials, research methods and writing ideas, summarizied and extracted 7 research models of library and information science in China, and took the papers published in 18 core journals of library and information science from 2015 to 2017 as the research object, empirical analysis of these 7 research models is made on the distribution of total quantity, publication year, journal and author organization.[Result/conclusion] 7 research models of library and information science in China have different characteristics under the comprehensive drive of theoretical creation subject, journal theme orientation, practical application scenario and modern technology development, which are embodied as follows:exploratory research of new ideas and new technology mode creates new scenarios of library practice; theoretical induction research of documentation and information resource has become the current mainstream research mode; research of application analysis of front line business enriches the research system of library and information science; research of mathematical statistics application expands the research methods of library and information science; computer software application and algorithm design research under the background of modern information technology development broadens the research perspective of library and information science; subject integration model provides a new channel for cross-border research of library and information science.

Abstract： [Purpose/significance] The lack of research data metadata knowledge and efficient easy-to-use metadata creation services hinder the sharing and reuse of research data among researchers. Due to the large amount and wide user orientation of the generalist research data repository, the metadata creation service provided by it has references for improving the above dilemmas.[Method/process] Taking six generalist research data repositories recommended by Springer Nature and Scientific Data as samples, this paper investigated and analyzed their metadata creation services from two aspects of the service content composition and the service implementation mode, then summarized their service characteristics and advanced experiences.[Result/conclusion] The metadata creation service provided by the generalist research data repository has five characteristics of following the tradition but has some innovations, striving for simplicity and highlighting its own characteristics, paying attention to the popularization of metadata knowledge and ability transformation, fully ensuring data democracy, paying attention to the organization of related resources and encouraging data reference. Its service model not only pays attention to the ease and usefulness of service but also taking account of the popularization of metadata knowledge, above which have important enlightenment and references for the research data repository construction and metadata creation service design for library and information community in China.

Abstract： [Purpose/significance] The frequent "academic scandals" in recent years have posed new challenges to my country's scientific research review mechanism. The Registered Report that emerged in the open science movement can effectively improve the transparency of the research process and evaluation process, reduce the publication bias in the review process, and ensure academic rigor and scientific research quality due to its unique peer review mechanism, to put an end to academic fraud. The paper attempts to conduct an in-depth study of the peer review mechanism of registered reports, analyze and summarize its characteristics, in order to provide a reference for the innovative development and scientific improvement of peer review in my country.[Method/process] Comprehensive used of online research methods and content analysis methods to analyze the review process, review form, review efficiency, review ethics guidelines, reviewer expert database construction and other aspects of the registration report peer review. Explored the relationship between authors, reviewers, and editors in the peer review mechanism of registered reports and related rights, and summarized the characteristics of the peer review mechanism of registered reports.[Result/conclusion] The innovative features of the peer-review mechanism of registered research reports are mainly reflected in the following aspects:① The optimization of review process and standards:the new mode of peer-review for registered research is implemented twice, which is no longer only based on subjective judgment of experts, and the process of selection of review experts and treatment of expert opinions is scientific and reasonable;② The improvement of anonymity and interactivity:the diversification of peer review forms and the pursuit of maximum flexibility while maintaining basic checks and balances;③ The improvement of review efficiency:the parallel review information transmission mode, the regulation of Ming culture and the systematic supervision and punishment mechanism contribute to the high efficiency of peer review. The advanced features of the peer-review mechanism of registered research reports are as follows;① It establishes a strict and meticulous moral code system for reviewers;② Pay attention to the construction of the peer review expert database, and form a complete reviewer incentive mechanism.

Abstract： [Purpose/significance] This paper reviews Mr. Meng Liansheng’s research achievements in resource construction and literature information retrieval, and reviews his practical experience in this field to show the striving and exploring spirit of the older generation of library and information scholars. [Method/process] Studying the research results and working manuscripts of Mr. Meng Liansheng by applying the method of literature research and interviews, the summary was made from two aspects of information resource construction and information resource retrieval. [Result/conclusion] Mr. Meng Liansheng studies library and information science from a wide range of sources. He has not only rich theoretical research results, but also rich practical experience in the database construction of Chinese Academy of Sciences and NSTL, which has realized the integration of theory and practice. He explores the characteristics of information retrieval and the way of digital resources service, which richens the theoretical research and practical system of resource construction and information retrieval.

Abstract： [Purpose/significance] By discussing professor Meng Liansheng’s academic thoughts and practical course, we can understand the development of libraryship to some extent, and provide experience and reference for future exploration and progress. [Method/process] The article applied content analysis, bibliometrics and interview methods to collect, sort out and analyze various types of materials and data to form research conclusions. [Result/conclusion] Professor Meng has the courage of academic exploration, pursuit of practical innovation, and has opened a precedent for the research and construction of Chinese Citation Database. It has made great achievements in the essential relationship between scientific research and information science, the development of literature and information industry, the construction of scientific and technological information resources, information retrieval of scientific and technological literature, and the theory and practice of digital library in China. Professor Meng’s rigorous academic research, accumulation of knowledge, seeking truth from facts and excellence in the spirit of "refining the characters" is admirable. And his teaching style of "moisturizing things silently" is admired by all his students.

Abstract： [Purpose/significance] This study aims to analyze the content and characteristics of WIPO trusted digital evidence service, and find the feasible application of WIPO trusted digital evidence service in digital copyright protection.[Method/process] Using the methods of literature research and network research, this paper reviewed and summarized the research progress of digital evidence. It analyzed the background, development process, service connotation, service content and service characteristics of WIPO trusted digital evidence, and put forward the feasible application of WIPO trusted digital evidence in digital copyright protection.[Result/conclusion] It is found that the current research on digital evidence mainly focuses on the concept analysis, characteristics analysis, legal status and related legal system issues, evidence collection and preservation issues of digital evidence. WIPO trusted digital evidence service has the characteristics of authoritative organization status, reliable workflow, stable technical support and strict management policies and service standards. It can be used to provide trusted timestamp digital evidence for the creation process of digital works, bind the creator identity for digital works, assist scientific researchers and university libraries to manage research data, and help researchers deal with the problem of reference rot.

Abstract： [Purpose/significance] This paper explored American public libraries' experience in dealing with different types of major emergencies in various service arrangements, so as to provide reference for public libraries in China if similar incidents would unfortunately happened.[Method/process] By comprehensively reviewing the response of public libraries to major social emergencies, work can be divided into two categories:inner continuous business and external social service. As for social service work, we classified the selected cases according to the source of emergencies, and discussed the pattern and content of which under the two environments of reality and network after different types of major emergencies occurrence.[Result/conclusion] From the perspective of the source of emergencies, social service under natural disasters or social problems can compensate for the losses, while social service under social problems can also contain the adverse consequences of disasters in the short-term emergency response. From the perspective of the environment of providing service, when facing emergencies, the public library gradually presents the trend of shifting the focus of work from the reality to the network. In addition, from the perspective of the types of public libraries, large public libraries have the characteristics of macro scheduling, while small and medium public libraries have the characteristics of serving local people. Based on the above analysis results, this paper puts forward corresponding suggestions for public libraries in China to deal with similar situations.

Abstract： [Purpose/significance] This article hopes to understand the content composition and basic characteristics of eight Ivy League universities in the United States in terms of the content of personal digital archiving policies, and to provide references for the normative construction and practical exploration of personal digital archiving in Chinese universities. Investigating the personal digital archive policy is conducive to promoting the rational collection and utilization of personal digital archives, and is conducive to improving the management level of personal digital archives, then ultimately promoting personal digital archives to become a precious social and cultural resource for future digital humanities research.[Method/process] This research adopted case analysis and comparative analysis, taking eight Ivy League universities as the research objects. Through the research and analysis of personal digital archive policies, this article sorted out the categories, content forms and management behaviors of personal digital archives in current management policies.[Result/conclusion] In terms of the types and boundaries of personal digital archives, Ivy League universities divide the types of personal digital archives based on the privacy level of personal data. On this basis, the personal digital archive management policy formulated by the Ivy League universities ensures its standard operation, high-quality management and reuse.

Abstract： Purpose/Significance In the context of the development of open science and the paradigm change of scientific research communication, libraries, as important resource centers and information service institutions for scientific research activities, are faced with important tasks such as enriching the resource system and exploring new growth points for resource construction. As an emerging and highly valuable scientific research resource, it will be a strategic layout with practical significance for libraries to incorporate Registered Reports into their own resource system and develop library services based on them. Methodology/Process Using a combination of literature research method and web research method, we analyze in detail the necessity, possibility and feasibility of incorporating Registered Reports into the library resource system, summarize the existing practical experience abroad, and propose feasible strategies for incorporating Registered Reports into the library resource system. Results/Conclusions The incorporation of Registered Reports into the library resource system can effectively respond to the "reproducibility crisis" in the scientific community and better meet the new research communication needs under open science, which is an inherent requirement of the 14th Five-Year Plan of the library. It is an inherent requirement of the 14th Five-Year Plan of the Library. Scientific data, which is one of the fragments of Registered Reports, has become a mature collection resource, and Registered Reports have shown a positive development trend, which provides a possible reference for the integration of Registered Reports into the library resource system. Libraries can promote the value of Registered Reports through the TOP Guidelines, promote the establishment of a pre-registration platform, add "pre-registration librarians," provide pre-registration support services, build a collection of Registered Reports, and guide the management and application of Registered Reports based on the FAIR principles. The construction of resources for Registered Reports is carried out through the following ways.
