摘要: A novel high-frequency and high power density planar insulated core transformer (PICT) applied to high voltage direct current (DC) generator is introduced. PICTs operating principle and fundamental configuration are described, and preliminary experimental results in self-designed PICT apparatus are presented. Emphatically, magnetic leakage flux (MFL) giving rise to the output voltage drop is analyzed in detail both theoretically and by finite element method (FEM). Showing good consistency with experimental result, FEM simulation is considered to be practicable in physical design of PICT. To cancel out leakage inductance and improve the voltage uniformity, compensation capacitor is adopted and experimental verification is also presented. All shows satisfactory results.

摘要: To upgrade Hefei Light Source (HLS) Linac, eight accelerating units have been constructed to realize full-energy injection of the storage ring. Each of the units consists of two 3-m accelerators driven by one klystron. The input cavity detuning method was developed to measure and correct the phase length of the RF power distribution waveguide system. The design of the waveguide network and the principles of the detuning method are presented in this paper. After correction, the phase error between the waveguide of the two accelerators was less than �0.5�, and the maximum electron energy of Linac reached 805 MeV, which is very near the theoretical maximum value of 810 MeV. These results demonstrate that the calibration of the waveguide was successful.

摘要: Dwarf irregular galaxies (dIrrs), as rotationally supported systems, have more reliable J-factor measurements than dwarf spheroidal galaxies and have received attention as targets for dark matter detection in recent years. In this paper, we use 10 yr of IceCube muon-track data and an unbinned maximum-likelihood-ratio method to search for neutrino signals beyond the background from the directions of seven dIrrs, aiming to detect neutrinos produced by heavy annihilation dark matter. We do not detect any significant signal. Based on such null results, we calculate the upper limits on the velocity-averaged annihilation cross section for 1 TeV–10 PeV dark matter. Our limits, although weaker than the strictest constraints in the literature in this mass range, are also a good complement to the existing results considering the more reliable J-factor measurements of dIrrs.

摘要: Gadolinium gallium aluminum garnet (GGAG) is a very promising host for the highly efficient luminescence of Ce3+ and shows potential in radiation detection applications. However, the thermodynamically metastable structure would be slanted against it from getting high transparency. To stabilize the crystal structure of GGAG, Yb3+ ions were codoped at the Gd3+ site. It is found that the decomposition of garnet was suppressed and the transparency of GGAG ceramic was evidently improved. Moreover, the photo- luminescence of GGAG:Ce3+,xYb3+ with different Yb3+ contents has been investigated. When the Ce3+ ions were excited under 475 nm, a typical near-infrared region emission of Yb3+ ions can be observed, where silicon solar cells have the strongest absorption. Basing on the lifetimes of Ce3+ ions in the GGAG:Ce3+,xYb3+ sample, the transfer efficiency from Ce3+ to Yb3+ and the theoretical internal quantum efficiency can be calculated and reach up to 86% and 186%, respectively. This would make GGAG:Ce3+,Yb3+ a potential attractive downconversion candidate for improving the energy conversion efficiency of crystalline silicon (c-Si) solar cells.

摘要: Collinear laser spectroscopy is a powerful tool for studying the nuclear spins, electromagnetic moments, and charge radii of exotic nuclei. To study the nuclear properties of unstable nuclei at the Beijing Radioactive Ion#2;beam Facility (BRIF) and the future High Intensity Heavy-ion Accelerator Facility (HIAF), we developed a collinear laser spectroscopy apparatus integrated with an offline laser ablation ion source and a laser system. The overall performance of this state-of-the-art technique was evaluated and the system was commissioned using a bunched stable ion beam. The high-resolution optical spectra for the 4s 2S1/2 → 4p 2P3/2 (D2) ionic transition of 40,42,44,48Ca isotopes were successfully measured. The extracted isotope shifts relative to 40Ca showed excellent agreement with the literature values. This system is now ready for use at radioactive ion beam facilities such as the BRIF and paves the way for the further development of higher-sensitivity collinear resonant ionization spectroscopy techniques.
