    Abstract: The three frameworks for theories of consciousness taken most seriously by neuroscientists are that consciousness is a biological state of the brain,the global workspace perspective,and the perspective of higher state.Consciousness is discussed from viewpoint of theory of Entropy—partition of complex system in present article. Human brain’s system self-organizably and adaptively implements partition 、 aggregation and integration, and consciousness emerges.The Gibss representation of consciousness is proved and That consciousness originates from quantum mechanical processes of brain activity is explained by means of SW entropy

  • System Modeling Technique for Analog Circuit Design

    Abstract: Analog IC design faces a series of challenges. Druing design phase, the number of performance indicators that need to be met increases rapidly, along with more non-ideal factors that need to be balanced. It is difficult to effectively meet the needs of design exploration and simulation scheduling by using simulation-oriented models alone. System-level modeling is required to comprehensively address performance metrics and design constraints, and to adopt agile design methodologies to improve the efficiency of analog IC design efforts. Based on the framework of decoupling and separating circuit model and performance index calculation, this paper proposes a system-level modeling method for analog circuits that can handle complex constraints. This method gives a domain-specific language suitable for analog integrated circuit system-level modeling. The language contains the syntax elements and syntax protocols required for system-level modeling. According to the characteristics of analog integrated circuits, this method gives the semantic correspondence between the semantics of the modeling language elements and the circuit characteristics, and gives a modeling method that treats analog circuit components, topology and design constraints as components in the system to achieve decoupling. The model obtained by the above method uses graph as the basic data structure and supports graph calculation. this paper also presents system-level modeling tools including domain-specific language compilation, model storage, graph computing and other functions. Modeling cases are given to show the usability and applicability of the modeling method. This work shows that system-level modeling provides a feasible solution for solving the decoupling of complex constraints in analog integrated circuit design.

    Abstract: Artificial intelligence (AI) is the core of the fourth industrial revolution, and it has brought challenges to ethics and social governance. On the basis of explaining the current ethical risks of artificial intelligence, the study furtherly analyzes the current consensus on ethics, governance principles, and governance approaches of artificial intelligence. Moreover, the study also proposes to take “co-construction, co-governance and sharing” as the guiding theory to gradually build a multi-dimensional ethical governance system, including education reform, ethical norms, technical supports, legal regulations, and international cooperation.

  • Construct New Pattern of Evaluating and Training Youngsters’ Creativity

    Abstract: The core talents who support China’s innovative development and participate in international competition, on which the realization of the two centennial goals depends, are currently receiving basic education. Therefore, there is an urgent need to accelerate the innovation quality education for adolescents, and establish a scientific model of innovation quality training for cultivation and selection of talents. Through the analysis of the current situation of innovation quality cultivation and assessment both in China and in the world, this study proposes a new model of innovation quality assessment and training based on the cognitive theory of brain science, combined with the quantitative assessment technology of psychology, aiming to change the traditional evaluation system and promote the innovation quality cultivation of Chinese youth. The quality assessment paradigm and tool set designed and developed according to this model have been tested in practice in the training and assessment of adolescents, and will be explored more deeply in the cultivation of innovative talents in the future. It is suggested that the evaluation and cultivation should be carried out mainly from the psychological personality (innovative personality) and cognitive ability (innovative ability) which are the core of innovative quality.

  • Parallel Philosophy: Origin and Goal of Intelligent Industries and Smart Economics

    Abstract: What are the nature and goal of Intelligent Technology? What are the origin and mission of Intelligent Science? What are the impact and significance of Intelligent Industries to our societies and the future development of Human Being? Starting from the topic of AlphaGo, based on Karl Popper’s Three Worlds theory, this article addresses the above questions and discussed the beginning and trend of Artificial Intelligence and Parallel Intelligence. It then proposes Parallel Philosophy as the new philosophy system for Intelligent Science and Intelligent Technology, which extends the scope of traditional philosophy from Being, Becoming to Believing, and the corresponding Knowledge system from Descriptive, Predictive, to Prescriptive Knowledge. Intelligent Education and Smart Economics are used as two most important examples in the study here.

  • Suggested translation of "Theory of Mind" as "心理揣测"

    Abstract:

     "Theory of Mind" refers to the ability to understand mental states (purposes, intentions, attention, beliefs, knowledge, desires, emotions, etc.) in oneself and others. It is not only an important branch in the field of psychology and neuroscience, but also has a wide range of applications in humanities and social sciences, as well as a possible development direction for artificial intelligence. In the Chinese context, its meaning has been agreed upon, but its Chinese translation has not yet been fully unified. In this paper, we searched the sub-collection of academic journals in the China National Knowledge Infrastructure database with "theory of mind" as the keyword, and obtained 421 eligible Chinese documents after screening, and analyzed them to determine the development and usage of "theory of mind". The development and usage of the translation of "theory of mind" were analyzed. Based on the fact that "theory of mind" actually refers to the state of mental speculation in the field of research and application, and that the translation of "theory" into "揣测" in English. We propose to use "theory of mind" as the Chinese translation of "心理揣测" based on its feasibility and basis.

  • Method for simultaneous object identification and optimal control based on Model System

    Abstract: Abstract: Objective In practice, more than 95 % of industrial process control problems can be solved by PID control algorithm. In this paper, a new method of general controller optimization setting is established on the basis of inheriting and innovatively using 2DOF PID internal model control technology. Methods Model System was introduced into the method, and optimization template was obtained after offline simulation of the Model System. In the process of the signal excitation of the actual control system, the PID internal model control parameters are set by a specific algorithm guided by the template. Results Without accurate object parameters, the identification of object parameters and optimization of control performance can be completed simultaneously after several cycles of iteration.
    Conclusions This method has high setting efficiency, is convenient for later online maintenance of the system, and reduces the requirements for the technology and experience of the implementation personnel. The controller inherits the characteristics of good control with large time delay and strong robustness of internal model control, and both "target tracking" and "interference suppression" performance optimization. The control algorithm is simple, intuitive, and easy to be upgraded in the original PID control or realized by embedded system software and hardware, which is easy to be popularized and applied in production.
    Limits and future work Restricted by the design requirements of traditional internal model control, for the controlled object with negative response characteristics, this method should adopt the pre compensation processing mechanism or find a new model system and study the improved algorithm.

  • The influence of extrinsic and intrinsic motivation on memory in adolescents and the underlying neural mechanisms

    Abstract: Motivation is crucial to behavior. Motivation can be classified as extrinsic and intrinsic motivation. Adolescence is a critical period of memory and a special period of motivation development. However, the investigation of how extrinsic and intrinsic motivation impact memory is on the start stage. It remains unclear whether the rules and mechanisms of extrinsic and intrinsic motivation’ impact on memory are common or specific and how the extrinsic and intrinsic motivation interacts with each other to impact memory. This proposed project will combine the cognitive paradigm and functional magnetic resonance imaging technology to investigate how extrinsic and intrinsic motivation separately influences and interacts with each other to influence adolescents’ memory. These evidences will comprehensively and significantly advance our understanding of the unique laws and mechanisms of how extrinsic and intrinsic motivation affect memory in adolescents, and provide scientific evidence for how to improve the motivation and memory in adolescents.

    Abstract: 目前诸多模式识别任务的识别精度获得不断提升,在一些任务上甚至超越了人的水平。单从识别精度的角度来看,模式识别似乎已经是一个被解决了的问题。然而,高精度的模式识别系统在实际应用中依旧会出现不稳定和不可靠的现象。因此,开放环境下的鲁棒性成为制约模式识别技术发展的新瓶颈。实际上,在大部分模式识别模型和算法背后蕴含着三个基础假设:封闭世界假设、独立同分布假设、以及大数据假设。这三个假设直接或间接影响了模式识别系统的鲁棒性,并且是造成机器智能和人类智能之间差异的主要原因。本文简要论述如何通过打破三个基础假设来提升模式识别系统的鲁棒性。

  • 基于条件随机场与信息熵的特定领域概念发现

    Abstract: Aiming at the problem of automatic identification of existing concepts and discovering new concepts in a specific field, a method based on conditional random field and information entropy is proposed. The conditional random field is used to predict the boundary of conceptual words in text. The candidates of the new concept can be selected with the comparison to the existing concepts in the dictionary and the probably location in text is found. Then the mutual information and the left and right entropy are used to judge the internal degree of integration and the boundary freedom of the concept in the concept window for discovering new professional concepts. Experiments show that the concept discovery using this method has a better effect than the method of using the conditional random field alone. The accuracy of the concept discovery based on word and words model is respectively improved by 20.06% and 46.54%.

  • Gibbsian representation of knowledge in infinite dimensional random neural networks(IDRNN)

    Abstract: Abstract. In studying of a class of random neural network, some of relative researchers have proposed Markov model of neural network. Wherein Markov property of the neural network is based on “assuming”. To reveal mechanism of generating of Markov property in neural network, it is studied how infinite-dimensional random neural network (IDRNN) forms inner Markov representation of environment information in this paper.Because of equivalence between markov property and Gibbsian our conclusion is that knowledge is eventually expressed by extreme Gibbs probability measure—ergodic Gibbs probability measure in IDRNN. This conclusion is also applicable to quantum mechanical level of IDRNN. Hence one can see “ concept “- “ consciousness” is generated at particle(ion) level in the brain and is experienced at the level of the neurons; We have discussed also ergodicity of IDRNN with random neural potential. " "

  • Using associative neural network to interpret syndromes of Traditional Chinese Medicine

    Abstract:Millions of people benefit form Traditional Chinese Medicine TCM every day. Unfortunately till now TCM has not been accepted as science by world especially western people. Bian Zheng Lun Zhi is distillation of TCM. Syndrome is key in system of Bian Zheng Lun Zhi. Study about the syndrome is core of study of basic theory of TCM. We creatively interpret TCM through a view of cognitive science and take syndromes of TCM as concepts of brain. This paper try to introduce syndrome to western people in order to let western people understand our viewpoints more easily the best method is to adopt a manner that is easily understood by them already exists and has been thought to be right. So we employ neural network presented by foreign people as brain model instead of network presented by us Using two classic case of TCM we successfully clarify the three main properties of syndrome in TCM.
