  • An Exploration of the Antecedents and Consequences of Judges’ Time Poverty at Work: A Qualitative Study

    Abstract: In an era of “litigation explosion”, Chinese judges are faced with the challenge of effectively handling the overwhelming and increasing volume of court cases. To address the dilemma of “too many cases but too few judges”, previous research on judicial practice has mainly focused on improving the efficiency of litigation procedure. However, one critical aspect that has been largely neglected is the underlying psychological response of judges to this challenge, which may play a pivotal role in the effectiveness and quality of judicial decision making. To address this gap, the current research adopted a person-centered perspective, aiming to uncover the role played by the prevalent feeling of time poverty, the feeling of not having enough time to accomplish all work-related task, among judges. We delved into the antecedents that triggered judges’ perception of time poverty, explored the consequences it had on judicial work, and unraveled the mechanisms through which time poverty influences the quality and efficiency of judicial decisions.
    Based on the grounded theory method, we conducted in-depth interviews with judges recruited through a purposeful sampling method. Specifically, participants consisted of judges (N = 51) who came from various regions across North China, Central China, and Southeast China, and who worked for local People’s Courts at various levels (i.e., the primary, intermediate, and high People’s Court) with tenures ranging from one to thirty-six years, ensuring a diverse representation of perspectives and experiences. The current study constructed an integrated model that elucidated the antecedents and consequences of the perception of time poverty within the realm of the judiciary.
    Findings revealed that (1) a mismatch between job demands, which was increased due to the numerous and detailed workloads and the burden of assessment requirements, and resources, which was decreased due to insufficient staffing, contributed to judges’ time poverty at work, and (2) the mismatch between job demands and resources urged the judges to speed up judicial decisions as well as to prolong their working hours, which in turn damaged the quality and effectiveness of judicial decisions.
    By examining judges’ feelings of time poverty at work, the current study employed a person-centered perspective that complements the normative approach of extant legal science research and elucidated the mechanism that underlies the formation of judges’ time poverty and its judicial consequences. Findings of the current study provide theoretical insight into the challenge of case overload in China through a psychological perspective and offer practical implications for policymakers to overcome the challenge by prioritizing the feelings and needs of judges.

  • Conceptualization of time poverty and its impact on well-being: From the perspective of scarcity theory

    Abstract: Time poverty is a pervasive sensation of having insufficient time in daily life, which is detrimental to physical and mental health and well-being. At present, the conceptual framework of time poverty remains unclear, and its association with well-being is inconsistent and lacks causal evidence and a comprehensive understanding of the underlying mechanisms. This study aims to disambiguate the meaning of time poverty, create a multidimensional theoretical model, devise an assessment scale, and establish a national database of time poverty in China. Drawing from scarcity theory, we examine the impact of time poverty on individual and interpersonal well-being and the possible mediating role of over-productivity orientation. Lastly, we investigate the impact of time poverty on family well-being and its underlying mechanisms based on the spillover-crossover model.

  • Application of PDCA cycle in management of breast cancer patients undergoing peripherally inserted central catheter placement

    Abstract: Objective To evaluate the application of Plan-Do-Check-Action cycle(PDCA) model in management of breast cancer patients undergoing peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC)placement. Methods According to sequence of hospital admissions, totally 100 breast cancer patients undergoing PICC placement were divided into the control group and observation group, with 50 patients in each group. Routine PICC maintenance was carried out in the control group during the treatment, and PDCA cycle model was used in management of PICC placement in the observation group. The incidence of complications, treatment compliance and patient satisfaction were compared between two groups. Results The incidence rates of puncture-site infection, catheter blockage and fever induced by catheter-related infection in the observation group than those in the control group, and a significant difference was found in catheter blockage rate between two groups (P<0.05). Patients in the observation group had a better outcome of treatment compliance and satisfaction assessment than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The PDCA cycle mode in an effective tool in quality improvement of PICC maintenance for breast cancer patients. It is able to reduce the incidence of complications and improve the treatment compliance and satisfaction of patients.

  • Effect of nursing interventions on preventing side effects of azacitidine in patients with high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome

    Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of predictive nursing strategies on preventing side effects of azacitidine in patients with high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome. Methods? Totally 40 patients undergoing subcutaneous injection therapy with azacitidine for high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome were randomly divided into the observation group and control group, with 20 cases in each group. Routing nursing management including posture nursing, oral care, psychological care and nursing of adverse reactions was carried out in the control group. In the observation group, a special nursing team was set up to enhance the predictive nursing interventions such as nutrition support, prevention of infection and hemorrhage, and so on. The side effects of azacitidine therapy were observed analyzed. Results The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (10.00% vs. 45.00%, P<0.05). Conclusion? For those patients undergoing subcutaneous injection therapy with azacitidine for high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome, the predictive nursing is potentially effective to reduce the incidence of adverse drug reactions.

  • 射电望远镜台站的Android手机干扰管理APP设计与实现

    Abstract:无线电监测表明,手机与基站通信产生的干扰信号会影响射电天文观测数据,为了抑制射频干扰,天文学家提出屏蔽站内电子设备、设置无线电宁静区等无线电管理办法,其中的手机信号因易移动、基数大而难于监测和管理。然而,开启手机的飞行模式或关机可以降低射频干扰。基于此,本文设计和开发了一款基于Android系统的手机干扰管理APP,采用定位技术来自动判别手机是否处于无线电宁静区,以提醒用户管理手机,并记录用户在宁静区内的操作。测试结果表明,当用户处于无线电宁静区时,APP能主动提醒用户开启飞行模式或关机,有效降低手机信号对天文观测数据的影响。

    Abstract: Concerning the problem that the existing safety helmet wearing detection method has certain detection difficulty and low accuracy for partial occlusion, different size and small object, proposing a safety helmet wearing detection method based on improved Faster RCNN and multi-part model. Based on original Faster RCNN algorithm, this method uses multi-scale training and increased anchor number strategy to enhance the robustness of network to detect different scales, and introduce online hard example mining strategy to prevent imbalance between positive and negative samples. Then, detecting the wearing safety helmet workers, safety helmet and other parts. Last, using multi-part model method to eliminate the false object. Experiments show that the detection accuracy is improved by 7% compared to the original Faster RCNN, and the adaptability to the environment is stronger.

  • 饲粮粗蛋白质水平和氨基酸平衡性对肥育猪生长性能、胴体性状和肉品质的影响

    Abstract:本研究旨在探讨饲粮粗蛋白质水平和氨基酸平衡性对肥育猪生长性能、胴体性状和肉品质的影响。选取平均初始体重为(69.3±3.6) kg的杜×长×大去势公猪125头,随机分为5个组,每组5个重复,每个重复5头猪。5个组分别为:高蛋白质饲粮组(粗蛋白质水平约为14%)、低蛋白质(粗蛋白质水平约为10%)–氨基酸平衡饲粮组以及3个低蛋白质(粗蛋白质水平约为10%)–氨基酸不平衡饲粮组(在低蛋白质–氨基酸平衡饲粮组的基础上分别将含硫氨基酸、苏氨酸和色氨酸与赖氨酸的比例降低10%)。所有饲粮的标准回肠可消化赖氨酸水平均设置为0.71%,低蛋白质–氨基酸平衡饲粮组中标准回肠可消化苏氨酸、标准回肠可消化含硫氨基酸和标准回肠可消化色氨酸与标准回肠可消化赖氨酸的比值分别为0.67、0.60和0.20。试验期为28 d。结果显示,与低蛋白质–氨基酸平衡饲粮组相比,高蛋白质饲粮组肥育猪的平均日采食量有下降趋势(P=0.05),低蛋白质–低色氨酸饲粮组肥育猪平均日增重和平均日采食量均显著下降(P0.10)。饲粮粗蛋白质水平和氨基酸平衡性对肥育猪的胴体性状和肉品质无显著影响(P>0.10)。因此,低蛋白质–氨基酸平衡饲粮不影响育肥猪生长性能、胴体性状和肉品质,分别降低10%标准回肠可消化含硫氨基酸、标准回肠可消化色氨酸和标准回肠可消化苏氨酸对肥育猪胴体性状和肉品质无显著影响,但降低10%标准回肠可消化色氨酸显著降低肥育猪平均日增重和平均日采食量。

    Abstract: Aiming at the problem of insufficient feature selection and lack of spatial feature weight in the process of image annotation and Attention mechanism, this paper proposed a method of attention image annotation combined with spatial feature. Firstly, it obtained the image feature by convolution neural network, and matched the feature region with the text label sequence. Then, it used the Attention mechanism to weight the annotation vocabulary, and combining the spatial feature to extract the loss function, the image annotation based on the spatial feature attention. Finally, the Flickr30k and COCO validated on the data set to show how the model automatically learns the salient regions and generates the corresponding vocabulary output sequences. The experimental results show that the method can extract the attention area and give the annotation, and compare with other models can get better labeling results.

    Abstract: Applying collaborative representation method to gait recognition research can solve the problem of time-consuming calculation of sparse representation. While the GEI algorithm for extracting gait features does not consider gait internal outline information, resulting a low recognition rate. To address this problem, this paper proposed a novel method to extract gait features by using a fusion Hog and GEI algorithm. On the basis of this method, train the samples by using collaborative representation method and classify the samples according to the minimum reconstruction error. The experimental results show that the accuracy of the proposed method is 1.315% higher than that of the collaborative representation in a single view, and the accuracy of gait recognition is increased by 6.51% over the cross view.

  • 大口黑鲈对饲料中酵母硒的耐受性研究

    Abstract:本试验旨在通过研究酵母硒对大口黑鲈生长性能、血浆生化指标、组织抗氧化指标及肝脏组织结构的影响,评价大口黑鲈对饲料中酵母硒的耐受性。在基础饲料中分别添加0(Y0)、0.5(Y0.5)、2.5(Y2.5)、5.0 mg/kg(Y5.0)(以硒计)酵母硒,其中0.5是硒的最高推荐剂量,2.5和5.0 mg/kg分别是最高推荐剂量(0.5 mg/kg)的5和10倍。基础饲料本底硒含量为0.76 mg/kg。选用初始体重为(12.99±0.01) g大口黑鲈,随机分为4组,每组6个重复,每个重复20尾,试验期为10周。结果表明:Y0组增重率和摄食率最低,同时其饲料系数也最低,均显著低于其余各组(P0.05)。硒日摄入量和肝脏硒含量呈显著线性相关(P<0.05),肝脏硒含量随硒日摄入量的提高呈线性增加。各组大口黑鲈的肝脏都有不同程度的损伤,但添加0.5 mg/kg酵母硒对肝脏损伤有缓减作用。由上述结果可知,饲料中添加0.5 mg/kg酵母硒(总硒含量为1.29 mg/kg)对大口黑鲈具有一定的脂肪代谢促进作用和抗氧化保护功能,且对大口黑鲈是安全的。本试验条件下,综合生长性能、血浆生化指标、组织抗氧化指标及肝脏组织结构,饲料本底硒含量为0.76 mg/kg时,大口黑鲈对饲料中酵母硒的耐受剂量为0.5 mg/kg(以硒计),即为硒的最高推荐剂量,安全系数为1。鱼粉、磷虾粉等动物蛋白质源中含有较高水平的硒元素,因此在高鱼粉水产动物饲料中补充硒要慎重。

  • 苜草素对蛋鸡胆固醇代谢的影响及其基因调控机制

    Abstract:本试验旨在研究饲粮中添加不同水平苜草素对蛋鸡胆固醇代谢的影响,并探讨其基因表达调控机制。选取体重和产蛋率相近的26周龄尼克蛋鸡540只,随机分为5组,每组6个重复,每个重复18只。对照组饲喂基础饲粮,试验组分别在基础饲粮中添加300、600、900、1 200 mg/kg的苜草素。预试期7 d,正试期70 d。结果表明:1)试验第35天和第70天,900 mg/kg苜草素组的蛋黄胆固醇含量显著低于对照组(P<0.05)。2)与对照组相比,900 mg/kg苜草素组显著升高了蛋鸡血清中高密度脂蛋白胆固醇(HDL-C)含量和高密度脂蛋白/低密度脂蛋白(HDL/LDL)(P<0.05),各组蛋鸡血清中总胆固醇(TC)、甘油三酯(TG)、低密度脂蛋白胆固醇(LDL-C)含量差异均不显著(P>0.05)。3)与对照组相比,600、900、1 200 mg/kg苜草素组显著降低了蛋鸡肝脏中3-羟基-3-甲基戊二酸单酰辅酶A还原酶(HMGCR)mRNA表达量(P<0.05),900和1 200 mg/kg苜草素组显著升高了蛋鸡肝脏组织中胆固醇7α-羟化酶(CYP7A1)mRNA表达量(P<0.05)。各组蛋鸡肝脏中固醇结合蛋白元件-2(SERBP-2)和卵巢中卵黄蛋白原受体(OVR)mRNA表达量无显著差异(P>0.05)。综上,饲粮中添加苜草素降低了蛋黄胆固醇和全蛋胆固醇含量,其调控机制可能是通过抑制蛋鸡胆固醇的内源性合成和促进胆固醇向胆汁酸的转化排泄2种途径来实现。本试验推荐26~35周龄蛋鸡苜草素添加水平为900 mg/kg。

  • 高精度天线指向控制算法的研究

    Abstract:随着射电天文的发展,大口径天线的角分辨率越来越高,对天线指向精度的要求高达In量级。由于天线伺服驱动力矩的脉动造成低频谐振,传统PI(D)调节器难以满足更高指向跟踪的需求。结合射电望远镜的工况、伺服控制目的及控制器设计原则,采用一种基于线性自抗扰控制算法,并应用于某天线位置环仿真。分析结果表明,该算法不仅有良好的动态性能和控制精度,而且有较强的鲁棒性。
