  • Research on the Construction of Knowledge Graph in the Context of Landscape Poem from the Perspective of Digital Humanities:Take Parrot Island Poetry as an Example

    Abstract: [Purpose/Significance]The research on smart libraries should not only focus on the present and explore the future, but also review the past and trace the roots. This article identifies and analyzes the historical root literature in the field of smart libraries, providing reference for researchers to sort out the development context of the field and discover important node literature.[Method/Process] Based on the 617 cited references and 14 949 references of Web of Science core dataset in the field of smart libraries, using the reference publication year spectrum function of the CRExplorer software, a framework for identifying and analyzing historical root literature was constructed. Based on the annual citations of references and the trend of the 5-year average median deviation curve, the research stages of the field were divided into the preparatory period, budding period, initial development period, and rapid development period. On this basis, 17 works of historical root literature were identified. [Result/Conclusion] The literature analysis found that the researches in the field of smart library showed the following characteristics: the historical root literature in the field of smart library has the characteristics of significant interdisciplinary, the change of research content from technology to theory and user experience, the weak continuity of typical research topics and the large interval, the authors are mainly “big masters”, and the new forces have emerged in recent years.

  • WI-LDA: Technical Topic Analysis in Patents

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] It is of great significance to improve the existing problems of technical topic analysis in patents based on the LDA, which are low recognition, weak interpretability and fuzzy boundary division,to hold the technical hot spots and track the technological frontier. [Method/process] The international patent classification is introduced into the topic analysis in patents based on the LDA, and used as the language content of technical terms. The structure of WI (Word IPC) is trained to construct the WI-LDA model to achieve the identification and analysis of the subject of patent documents. [Result/conclusion] The case study of graphene field in Chinese patents and comparative study with traditional LDA models prove that the generalization ability of the WI-LDA model is strong, and the WI-LDA model can effectively reduce the difficulty of identification technical topic analysis in patents, increase the interpretability of topics and make the topic classification clearer.

  • Patent Service Design for University Library Based on Analysis of User Needs: Taking Intellectual Property Information Service Center of Shandong University of Technology as the Example

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] The core value of university libraries is first of all to maintain a high degree of consistency between service and needs. This paper tries to study how to develop strengths and avoid weaknesses, meet needs, diversify and implement patent services in various ways for university libraries. It is of great significance for university libraries to improve their service performances and highlight their missions.[Method/process] The paper is based on the analysis of user needs and service design, taking the patent service practices in the Intellectual Property Information Service Center of Shandong University of Technology as the example. The patent service orientation, content, and mode of university libraries have been discussed from three dimensions as the patent quality education combing popularization and improvement, the patent scientific research service with choosing to do something, and the information analysis and decision support for industry-academy-research policies.[Result/conclusion] High quality to meet user needs is the focus of patent services work in university library. In order to carry out patent service effectively, the library should be guided by rational orientations, supported by professionals, focused on patent education and guaranteed by effective mechanism.

  • An Analysis of Different Stakeholders' Motivations in Open Sharing of Scientific Data

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] This paper aims to provide theoretical guidance for the practice of open sharing of scientific data in China by clarifying the motivations of open sharing of scientific data.[Method/process] The paper used stakeholder theory and normative analysis to analyzethe motivations of different stakeholders to participate in the open sharing of scientific data.[Result/conclusion] Stakeholder theory can be used to guide the practice of open sharing of scientific data. The stakeholders of open sharing of scientific data include governments, research institutions, research funding agencies, library and information agencies, data centers, professional associations, publishing companies, researchers, other enterprises, users and so on. These stakeholders all can benefit from the open sharing of scientific data, with different interests and motivations.

  • An Empirical Study on Barriers of Scientific Data Open Sharing

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] This paper summarizes and verifies viewpoints of barriers of scientific data open sharing in order to promote open scientific theory research.[Method/process] Based on the theoretical analysis of barriers of scientific data open sharing, 64 research hypotheses are put forward and used as the questions of questionnaire. Through questionnaire survey and data processing and analysis, the relevant research hypotheses are verified.[Result/conclusion] The barriers of scientific data open sharing mainly include 26 kinds of managing and implementing barriers, 13 kinds of legal and financial barriers, 9 kinds of technical barriers, 8 kinds of cognitive barriers, 4 kinds of cost barriers and 4 kinds of user barriers. In order to improve the level of open sharing of scientific data in China, the relevant solutions or strategies for the above obstacles should be formulated.

  • A Study on University Patent Transfer Object Recognition Based on Multi-level Requirements Analysis——Graphene as a Case Study

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] The identification of university patent transfer objects has positive significance for improving patent transfer conversion rate, effectively promoting the close integration of technology and economy, and achieving innovation-driven development.[Method/process] This paper used the technical requirements of enterprises to represent the market demand. Firstly, the domain multi-dimensional information technology tree was constructed based on the improved technology tree method, and then this paper analyzed the text characteristics and requirements content characteristics of the technical requirements document to determine the extraction rules and demand types based on the classification of technical requirements, and finally constructed the demand-technology matching model in different scenarios according to the demand type.[Result/conclusion] The feasibility of the method is verified by the patent data of graphene, and the results show that it is an effective means to strategically market college patents and promote patent conversion by matching the patents of colleges based on technical requirements to search for university patent operation customers.

  • Identification of University Transferable Patent: Based on Bayesian Theory and Combination Weighting Method

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] Research on the identification method of University transferable patents is positive significance to improve the quality of patent push and promote the docking of university scientific research and social economy. [Method/process] Firstly, based on the literature research, we tested and determined the quantifiable identification index of patents, and combined with Bayesian theory to screen university transferable patents preliminarily. Then, we used the multiple correlation coefficient and coefficient of variation combination weighting method to calculate the weight of each identification index, and calculated the weighted comprehensive transfer probability of the remaining patents. Finally, we identified transferable patents according to the comprehensive probability value. In addition, we used university patents in the field of medical configuration products to test the method. [Result/conclusion] We use Bayesian theory and combination weighting method to calculate the comprehensive probability of university transferable patents through preliminary screening and secondary identification, this identification process not only ensures the accuracy of the results, but also takes into account the limitation of university patent management resources, which builds a good foundation for improving the quality of patent push.

  • Research on Universities Patent Transfer Object Recognition from the Perspective of Product/Technology Vertical Extension by Taking Aerogel as an Example

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] It is of great significance to identify the object of patent technology transfer for colleges and universities to push patents, improve the conversion rate of patents, and realize the economic development driven by scientific and technological innovation. [Method/process] This paper studied the semantic extraction of university patent information and enterprise multi-source information, constructed the domain technology tree that can reflect the vertical extension demand of enterprise products / technologies, and finally established the technology demand matching model between universities and enterprises, and carried out the customer identification of university patent transfer. [Result/conclusion] Taking the university patent in aerogel field as an example, the method of identification was verified. The results showed that the method can accurately identify the patent transfer objects with the product / technology vertical extension demand, and deal with the asymmetric information of supply and demand. It is an effective means to promote the transfer of patents in colleges and universities and achieve the precise docking of scientific and technological innovation with market demand.
