  • Design of the BNCT02 accelerator machine protection system

    submitted time 2024-04-24

Abstract: [Background] The RF linac dedicated to boron neutron capture therapy clinic facility(BNCT02) in our institute is mainly composed of an ion source, a low energy beam transmission line, a radio frequency quadrupole accelerator and three high energy beam transmission lines. [Purpose] This study aims to ensure the safe operation of the BNCT02 accelerator. [Methods] A machine protection system (MPS) was designed based on Yokogawa PLC and Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System (EPICS) software toolkit. In order to improve reliability and safety, the system adopts a redundant design, consisting of two completely independent subsystems with consistent main input and output signals. [Results & Conclusions] The test results show that the response time of the BNCT02 accelerator MPS is less than 1.6ms, and it has the characteristics of high stability and reliability, which meets the operational requirements of the BNCT02 accelerator.

  • Design and implementation of CSNS EPICS PV information platform

Subjects: Nuclear Science and Technology >> Particle Accelerator submitted time 2023-11-07

Abstract: EPICS, a software tool extensively used in large-scale scientific experiments such as particle accelerators. Depending on the scale of the facility, the number of EPICS PV can range from tens of thousands to millions. The ability to swiftly retrieve information related to EPICS PV can notably enhance the operational efficiency and maintenance of particle accelerators. To address this requirement, we designed and developed the EPICS PV information platform. This platform provides a unified user interface that supports the querying of PV lists, real-time statuses, historical data, put logs, IOC statuses, and IOC network information. It integrates these data points to offer a comprehensive view. The user interface of the platform leverages Web technology, with the server-side developed in the Node.js environment. This is complemented by software modules from the EPICS community. In addition, programs for network information collection and other cyclical executions are developed using the Python language. At present, the EPICS PV information platform has been successfully implemented in the CSNS accelerator, where it has significantly contributed to its effective operation and maintenance.

  • Discussion on the Practice of Narrative Medicine in Primary Care from the Perspective of General Practitioners

Subjects: Medicine, Pharmacy >> Clinical Medicine submitted time 2023-05-05 Cooperative journals: 《中国全科医学》

Abstract: Primary health care provided by general practitioners is an important safeguard for the achievement of universal health coverage. With the continues progress of new medical reform, the number of primary care settings, general practitioners and outpatient visits have increased significantly compared with one decade ago. General practitioners,as the main body of implementation of general practice, coincides with the concept of narrative medicine in terms of patient-centeredness and attention to both psychological and social factors of the patients. Narrative medicine is medicine practiced by clinical workers who have narrative ability, with strong theory and weak practice in our country at present. From the perspective of general practitioners, this paper presents the positive influence of narrative medicine practice in primary care on general practitioners in the form of parallel medical records.

  • 基于几何形态群组特征的R波检测算法

Subjects: Computer Science >> Integration Theory of Computer Science submitted time 2018-12-13 Cooperative journals: 《计算机应用研究》

Abstract: The accurate detection of ECG R wave is the key to assist in the diagnosis of heart disease. For the R wave detection problem, this paper proposes an R-wave detection algorithm based on geometric group features. Firstly, the algorithm preprocesses the ECG signal with the filter bank. Then, it calculates geometric eigenvalues by means of signal processing giving consideration to both overall and local, and uses the three geometric eigenvalues in the group to detect the R wave. Finally, it adopts MIT-BIH Standard Arrhythmia Database to test and verify this algorithm. The experimental results show that the error detection rate of the algorithm for R wave detection is 1.07%, the sensitivity is 99.38%, the accuracy rate is 99.61%, and the precision rate is 98.99%.

  • 60岁以上冠心病合并糖尿病患者的静息心率与血糖水平的相关性分析

Subjects: Medicine, Pharmacy >> Preclinical Medicine submitted time 2017-12-27 Cooperative journals: 《南方医科大学学报》

Abstract: Objective To explore the correlation between resting heart rate (RHR) and blood glucose level in elderly patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) complicated by diabetes mellitus. Methods Between April and July, 2011, a total of 1336 outpatients over 60 years of age recruited from 165 hospitals were asked to complete a questionnaire and received blood glucose and RHR examination. According to baseline RHR, the patients were divided into 3 groups with HRH <70 min-1 (group I, 372 cases), between 70 and 79 min-1 (group II, 533 cases), and ≥80 min-1 (group III, 431cases) for analysis of the relationships of RHR with blood glucose control rate. Results HbA1c levels in the total, male and female patients differed significantly among the 3 groups (F=15.436, 15.436, and 24.270, respectively, P<0.05), and increased in the order from group I to group III. Blood glucose control rate in the total, male and female patients also differed significantly among the 3 groups (χ2=13.471, 6.752, and 6.522, respectively, P<0.05), and was significantly lower in group III than in group I (P<0.05). RHR was found to positively correlate with FPG, 2hPG and HbA1c by Pearson correlation analysis (r=0.058, 0.085, and 0.058, respectively; P<0.05) and multiple linear regression analysis (β =0.075, 0.075, and 0.018, respectively; P< 0.05). Multivariable logistic regression equationshowed that compared with patients with RHR <70 min-1, the total, male and female patients with RHR ≥80 min-1 had OR values of blood glucose control failure of 1.99 (95% CI: 1.23-2.37, P<0.05), 1.81 (95% CI: 1.17-2.77, P<0.05), and 2.18 (95% CI: 1.12-3.74, P<0.05), respectively. Conclusions RHR in elderly CHD patients with MD is positively correlated with their blood glucose level, and an increased RHR is associated with an increased risk of poor blood glucose control. Rigorous RHR control in such high-risk patients may prove beneficial for both blood glucose control and secondary prevention of CHD.

Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) on the growth and invasion of gallbladder cancer cells. Methods The CAFs were isolated from human primary gallbladder carcinoma tissues by tissue culture and digestion methods. The cells were purified by differential adhesion method, and the primary cells were identified morphologically and immunocytochemically. The proliferation and invasion of two human gallbladder carcinoma cell lines (SBC-996 and GBC-SD) co-cultured with CAFs were detected by MTT and Transwell chamber assays. Results Gallbladder carcinoma CAFs were isolated successfully by both tissue culture and enzyme digestion methods, and the latter method was more convenient and efficient. MTT and Transwell assays showed that CAFs significantly promoted the proliferation and invasion of the two gallbladder carcinoma cell lines. Conclusion CAFs can promote the proliferation and invasion of gallbladder carcinoma cells in vitro, suggesting the important role of CAFs in the development of gallbladder carcinoma.
