  • The double-edged sword effects of team virtuality: A team development perspective

    Abstract: Team virtuality refers to the extent to which team members disperse in different working locations and collaborate through use of virtual communication tools. Many organizations have reacted to the development of digital economy by enhancing team virtuality. However, whether team virtuality is beneficial or detrimental to team performance is still unclear in the extant literature. This not only leads to a lack of systematic and integrated understanding on the effects of team virtuality, but also confuses practitioners on whether they should enhance team virtuality, and if yes, then on how to leverage team virtuality to improve team performance. To address this research question and grasp the means to maximize the benefits and minimize the drawbacks of team virtuality, the current project comprising three studies investigates the dynamic contingency factors, mechanisms, and intervention strategies that could influence the effect of team virtuality on team performance. First, based on the team development theory, this project explores the moderating of team development stage that could influence the relationship between team virtuality and team performance. Specifically, team virtuality is expected to inhibit team performance during the team welcoming stage, but enhance team performance during the team working and wrapping-up stages. Second, drawing upon the team development theory and the literature on teams as information processors, this project investigates the underlying mechanisms whereby team virtuality promotes or inhibits team performance as well as the relative strengths of these effects and mechanisms at different stages of team development. Specifically, team virtuality simultaneously enhances team performance through team information transfer capabilities and decreases team performance through team members' intention to share information. The positive effect of team virtuality on team performance is stronger than the negative effects during the team welcoming stage, while the negative effect of team virtuality on team performance is stronger than the positive effects during the team working and wrapping-up stages. Third, this project explores team leaders' intervention strategies on the effects of team virtuality on team performance during different team development stages. It suggests that team leaders could enhance the positive effect and weaken the negative effect of team virtuality on team performance by implementing Team-ICT matching intervention during the team welcoming stage, conducting process monitoring during the team working stage, and giving performance feedback during the team wrapping-up stage. This project contributes to the literature on team virtuality by constructing a novel and systematic theoretical framework for understanding the double-edge effects of team virtuality. It also provides valuable management insights into how organizations can select and train team leaders, and how team leaders can enhance their management capabilities in virtual work environments.   • A Comparative Analysis of Services for Dyslexia Groups in Public Libraries at Home and Abroad

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] Though in-depth research on the status of service to dyslexia groups in domestic and foreign libraries, the paper analyzes the current problems and provides viable advice on public library services for people with dyslexia.[Method/process] Literature, interviews, and online surveys were used to investigate the service status of dyslexia groups in public libraries in Europe, America, and parts of Asia, and in provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities in China.[Result/conclusion] The survey results show that there is a large gap between the service to dyslexia groups provided by the provincial public libraries in China and those of foreign countries, and the service consciousness and attention should be improved urgently. Libraries should pay more attention to the dyslexia group and improve their services for them, then give them more help.

  • The Drive Model and Test of Deep Reading in New Media Environment: From the Perspective of Schema Theory

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] With the sudden emergence of shallow reading in the new media environment, it is even gradually presenting a tendency that people become increasingly addicted to this way of reading. However, driving deep reading is a crucial issue to maintain the balance of reading state as well as beneficial to reading promoting.[Method/process] This paper discusses the differences between deep reading and shallow reading from the perspective of cognition, and believes that the differences between the two lies in the different completeness of the schematic chain in reading. On the basis of this, the paper analyzes the trigger for deep reading, and puts forward three driving factors including expectation, logic and recurrence to design a deep reading drive. Then, a controlled experiment was designed to verify the validity of the model.[Result/conclusion] The experiment results show that the addition of certain interference factors can promote the deep reading and the reading effect of readers' is improved collectively after applying the deep reading drive model and it has general applicability to some extent.

  • Comparative Study of Foreign Digital Reading and Paper Reading——Based on Literature Analysis and Review

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] Along with the increasing advance of the modern digital technology, digital reading has become the main reading mode. Through comparison and analysis of digital reading and paper reading, this paper clarifies the relationship between digital reading and paper reading, and provides reference for optimizing the digital resource construction and reading promotion service in our country.[Method/process] This paper reviews the literature on digital reading and paper reading in foreign countries, and finds that there are three clusters resulting from comparative study. They are reading preference, reading comprehension and reading experience. Therefore, the paper is analyzed in detail from these three aspects.[Result/conclusion] The foreign literatures mainly use the methods of experiment, questionnaire survey, depth interview, eye-tracking measures and electroencephalogram (EEG) to study the characteristics and differences of digital reading and paper reading. Digital reading and paper reading in different aspects present their own unique advantages and regularities. In the digital age, the two parties should complement each other. This paper puts forward the enlightenment to China's related research and library reading promotion service.

  • Research on the Influencing Factors of Digital Reading Intention Based on Age Grouping

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] The paper explored the influencing factors of digital reading intention in all ages, and provided theoretical basis for personalized services of digital reading promotion.[Method/process] Taking the definition of "digital natives" as the basis for age stratification, and Shannon's information theory and related theories of reading psychology as the basis for constructing digital reading intention, the paper used questionnaire and the structural equation model to analyze the differences in age factors that affect the intention of digital reading.[Result/conclusion] The results show that the influence factors of digital reading intention are different in age, and the intention is affected by the characteristics of source, motivation and information content, then digital reading extension service can combine these differences to provide personalized services for readers of all ages.

  • Experimental Study of Reading Comprehension Effects and Immersive Experience on Paper Reading and Digital Reading——Taking Science Knowledge as an Example

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance]This paper simulates the reading situation and environment of paper reading and digital reading in reality to observe and test the difference of reading effect between digital reading and paper reading,in order to provide reference for library reading service and reading resource construction.[Method/process] This study uses the middle-length science popularization article as an example to compare the differences between paper reading and digital reading from the perspective of reading comprehension and immersive experience using the control group experiment method.[Result/conclusion] Users' reading comprehension effect of paper reading is better than that of digital reading in the reading of middle-length popular science articles, but there is no significant difference in reading immersive experience. Users' reading immersion experience is related to education and personality. The library's reading service and resource construction should be based on the reader's personalized analysis and service.

  • Multinational Comparative Study on the Official Property Information Disclosure System from the Perspective of Building a Clean Administration

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance]In order to make clear the problems existing in the domestic property information disclosure system, this paper selects four countries to compare and analyze their property information disclosure systems. [Method/process]By using the literature research method and the case analysis method, the official property information disclosure systems of four typical countries were thoroughly analyzed from the following aspects:the development and evolution process, the declaration subject, the reporting content, the reporting time, the property information and guarantee implementation level. [Result/conclusion]This paper puts forward some relevant suggestions on improving domestic property information disclosure system.

  • Construction of Three-level Emergency Response Information Collaboration System of Smart Home-based Care Service for the Elderly

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] In view of the problems existing in the home-based emergency services for the elderly in China, a three-level emergency response information coordination system of smart home-based emergency services is constructed to improve the efficiency of emergency rescue through efficient multiagent emergency information collaboration.[Method/process] Through social investigation covering 94 cities in 26 provinces of China,this paper analyses the existing problems of home-based emergency services for the elderly. In addition, based on the information of the elderly, with call center as the information hub, the paper constructs an information collaboration system, taking family members, emergency service volunteers and hospitals along with other rescue agencies as its three-level element, and its feasibility is demonstrated.[Result/conclusion] Analyzing the information collaboration relationship among the main parts, the system model is constructed, the guarantee strategy for the implementation of the system model is put forward.

  • An Empirical Study on the Synergistic Effect Mechanism of Multiple Subjects Information Chain of Smart City in China

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] Exploring the synergistic effect mechanism of multiple subjects information chain of smart city will help the managers learn the key factors of enhancing its synergistic effect, which can improve the smart standard on the level of multiple subjects information chain synergetic service, as well as provide better smart service for the populace.[Method/process] On the basis of identifying and analyzing the information subject, information and information environment of the multiple subject information chain of smart cities in China, this paper puts forward six hypotheses about the mechanism of synergistic effect of multiple subject information chain of smart cities from three dimensions:subject synergy, information synergy and mechanism synergy. 456 sets of valid data is obtained through questionnaire survey, and structural equation model is used to test the research hypothesis.[Result/conclusion] The results show that mechanism synergy and information synergy directly affect the synergy effect of multiple subject information chain of smart city, and subject synergy, through mechanism synergy and information synergy, has an indirect effect on the synergy effect. According to the test results, the authors give five specific strategies to enhance the synergistic effect of multiple subject information chain of smart cities. It provides a useful reference for the research and practice of the synergistic effect mechanism of multiple subject of information chain of smart city.

  • The Node Vulnerability of Smart Government Local Nearest Neighbor Network: A Research Based on Shenzhen Government 0nline

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] By grasping the relationship between department nodes in the smart government network, we can find the important nodes and the law of data interconnection, which is helpful to solve the core difficult problem of cross-department information collaboration in smart government.[Method/process] From the perspective of citizen-oriented government business process, local neighbor network, a special and complex network, was constituted with the information flow formed by the provision and acceptance of government materials. Taking "Shenzhen government online" as an example, this paper visualized the local nearest neighbor network structure of Shenzhen government affairs, calculates the assortativity coefficient, measures the vulnerability of department nodes, and established the department priority and department cluster.[Result/conclusion] The study found that the local nearest neighbor network of smart government in Shenzhen has homogeneity, which provides more support for information flow compared with the heterogeneity network. In the process of constructing and sharing database, the focus should be on the departments with strong node vulnerability, and give priority to the departments with high correlation so as to stabilize the government network and promote the coordinated development of smart government. The research method of this paper is also suitable for analyzing the structure and characteristics of other urban smart government networks.

  • Intelligent City Data Fusion Framework Based on Multi-source Data

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] How to effectively realize data fusion of multi-source heterogeneous data in smart city is the core problem that intelligent city must solve.[Method/process] Based on the definition of urban data resource system, a semantic-oriented metadata model is proposed, and a framework of intelligent urban data fusion based on multi-source data is constructed according to user needs.[Result/conclusion] Based on the intelligent city data operating center, this paper proposes the implementation path of user data service recommendation for intelligent city. Finally, it puts forward some suggestions for the development of intelligent city data fusion:improving the multi-source data fusion standard of intelligent city; actively formulating the data opening policy; and exploring the personal data collection and storage protection scheme.

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] Jing Jipeng is a famous Information science scholar, who devotes to information science education. His theoretical research provides a foundation and a new perspective of logical thinking for the development of information science opens up a new field of information science in China.[Method/process] According to the formation, development and finalization of Jing Jipeng's information science theory and ideology, the characteristics of his information science were sorted out from the perspective of time. Information science is closely related to the development of the society, the essence of Jing's theoretical thoughts on information science was analyzed and summarized.[Result/conclusion] Firstly, from the perspective of time-sequence, Jing Jipeng's theoretical research of information science is divided into three stages, that is, the beginning stage, the formation stage and the deepening stage. Secondly, his contents of information science theory are analyzed from four aspects, that is, information science theory system, information economy, information ecology and information science education. Finally, based on the previous two aspects of research, personality charm of Jing Jipeng is revealed.

  • Research on Multi-information Collaborative Model of Smart Senior Care from the Perspective Heterogeneous Blockchain Network

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] The consensus algorithm and decentralization thought of blockchain technology can effectively guarantee the information coordination of social network. Smart multi-information collaborative network for the elderly is one of the specific application scenarios using blockchain technology to ensure social network information collaboration. The application of blockchain technology in this scenario can effectively improve the information collaboration efficiency among multiple participants in the smart senior care, thus bringing convenience to all participants in the smart senior care. [Method/process] In this paper, on the basis of the principle of blockchain technology and combining the features of multivariate information wisdom endowment antipodal built 5 different structure of blockchain structure, namely the pension administrative information sovereignty chain architecture, medical and health information alliance chain architecture, community service information alliance chain architecture private chain architecture, the elderly personal health information about the experience of the medical and health information public chain structure, and on the basis of blockchain across chain technology, the 5 kinds of architecture to assemble the wisdom endowment multivariate information heterogeneous blockchain network. On this basis, this paper analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the heterogeneous blockchain network in the aspect of information coordination to the development of China’s smart senior care. [Result/conclusion] Based on the heterogeneous block chain network technology, this paper proposes a smart endowment multi-information cooperation model, which enriches the application scenario of block chain technology.

  • The Pattern and Strategy of Reading Service for the Disadvantaged under the Theoretical Framework of “Reading Circle”: A Case Study of Juvenile Orphans in Jilin Province

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] By investigating the reading status and reading level of orphan students, this paper analyzes the problems of orphans in reading, and puts forward the modes and strategies of serving orphans and other disadvantaged groups under the framework of the "reading cycle" theory.[Method/process] Questionnaires and interviews were used to investigate the reading status of orphan students and ordinary students in Jilin province. Statistical software was used to analyze whether there were significant differences in reading level between orphan students and ordinary students.[Result/conclusion] Through investigation and research, it is found that orphan students have strong reading enthusiasm, but they are faced with the problems of insufficient reading resources, lacking experience in book selection and effective feedback. Their reading speed and reading comprehension ability are significantly different from their peers. Libraries and other reading service organizations and reading assistants should promote the services for orphans and other disadvantaged groups from three aspects:book selection, reading and response.

  • Construction of a Medical Blockchain Model for the Security Protection of Healthcare Big Data

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] In the rapid development of medical informatization, traditional medical information security protection has problems such as data loss and difficulty in sharing. In order to protect health and medical big data better, this paper proposes the construction of a medical blockchain model for the security protection of healthcare big data to solve the problems of centralized storage, untraceability, and vulnerability, and provides solutions for further promoting the application of blockchain technology in the field of health care.[Method/process] This paper built a health care big data information security protection model and system architecture based on blockchain technology, ensured that the medical blockchain data can not be tampered through the PBFT consensus algorithm, and ensured the safety of personal medical information through asymmetric encryption technology, then encouraged all nodes to join the medical blockchain through an incentive mechanism.[Result/conclusion] Compared with the previous medical information protection methods, the health care big data information security protection model based on blockchain technology has the advantages of data traceability, tamper resistance, equal sharing of information, security and credibility, etc. It can promote the development of health care digitalization better.

  • Data Set Construction of TCM Diagnosis and Treatment Based on Medical Case Metadata: Methods and Empirical Evidence

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] TCM medical case is an important carrier to record the diagnosis and treatment data. It is of great significance for TCM diagnosis and treatment knowledge sharing, analysis and inheritance to collect medical case data based on metadata and form a data set.[Method/process] We selected and determined of TCM medical case metadata, and referred to the relational database for the conceptual and logical design of the data set, collected, organized and stored TCM medical case data based on case description to form the method of data set.[Result/conclusion] Network and field diagnosis and treatment data collection were conducted based on relatively complete TCM medical case metadata. The formed TCM diagnosis and treatment data set can not only support multi-dimensional diagnosis and treatment information retrieval, but also provide data sources for further diagnosis and treatment data analysis and mining.

  • Study on the Standardization of Terms in TCM Diagnosis and Treatment Knowledge Base

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] TCM terminology is the carrier of TCM knowledge and an important part of TCM diagnosis and treatment knowledge base. The research on the standardization of TCM terminology for TCM diagnosis and treatment knowledge base is conducive to improving the quality of medical case data information in TCM diagnosis and treatment knowledge base and promoting TCM culture.[Method/process] This paper determined the scope of terms extraction and selection in TCM diagnosis and treatment knowledge base, constructed the structure of terms standard file, and put forward the strategy of word meaning control according to the problems existing in terms standard, and explained the process of terms extraction and standard file establishment with specific example.[Result/conclusion] The standardization of terms based on TCM diagnosis and treatment knowledge base can greatly improve the utilization efficiency of TCM diagnosis and treatment knowledge base, and promote the modernization and internationalization of TCM.

  • The Construction of Medical Case Metadata Model for the Knowledge Base of Traditional Chinese Medical Diagnosis and Treatment

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] In the process of traditional Chinese medical record management, there are a lot of problems such as inconformity and insufficient accuracy of the traditional Chinese medical record metadata, which is not conducive to the information retrieval, knowledge sharing and mining of the traditional Chinese medical record knowledge base. This research establishes a standardized traditional Chinese medical record metadata model, which plays an important role in the deep multi-dimensional retrieval, knowledge sharing and mining of traditional Chinese medical records.[Method/process] This paper summarized the relevant standards and metadata standards of current Chinese medicine through literature survey method; by collecting examples of traditional Chinese medicine cases through network survey method, analyzed the contents of medical cases in conjunction with content analysis method, and initially defined the metadata of medical cases elements; then through the field investigation method, observed and visited the Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment process at the Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment site, optimized the preliminary defined medical record metadata elements, and obtained the final medical record metadata element set.[Result/conclusion] A medical record metadata model oriented to the knowledge base of Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment is constructed to fully describe the diagnosis and treatment process of Chinese medicine and provide a reference for the unified metadata of Chinese medicine treatment records.

  • Integration Between Ideological Education and Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Coordination Between Schools and Enterprises: The Mode Construction and Practice Exploration of Curriculum Ideology in the Discipline of Library, Information and Archives Management in Jilin University

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] In order to implement the important task of "foster virtue through education" deployed by the state for colleges and universities in the new era, exploring the construction mode of curriculum ideology in the discipline of library, information and archives management is not only helpful to promote the process of ideological and political work, but be of great significance for improving the quality of personnel training. [Method/process] By combing the connotation of curriculum ideology, and investigating the current situation of curriculum ideological and political teaching in the discipline of library, information and archives management in China, this paper put forward a curriculum ideological and political teaching mode of "integration between ideological education and innovation & entrepreneurship, coordination between schools and enterprises", based on the discipline characteristics of the discipline of library, information and archives management in Jilin University. Taking archival science as an example, this paper shared the practical experience and achievements of curriculum ideological and political teaching under the guidance of this mode. [Result/conclusion] The curriculum ideological and political teaching mode of"Integration between Ideological Education and Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Coordination between School and Enterprise" has certain practical guiding value. Although some progress has been made in curriculum ideological and political teaching in the discipline of library, information and archives management, it is still urgent to study and optimize its theory and practice in depth.

  • 物体拓扑性质对背景线索效应的影响及其加工机制

    Abstract: When the associations among objects in the scene tend to remain unchanged as the time progressed, the repeated associations would guide attention to the target’s location more efficiently compared with the new context that changed across blocks, which is known as the contextual cuing effect. Though the process of the spatial layout has been widely interpreted, some studies that has investigated the role of object’s identities in contextual cuing effect were limited to the Euclidean property. The topological property, one of the most important objects’ identities referring to visual perception, was largely neglected. In this study, we aimed to manipulate configurations with topological property, Euclidean property, combined property as well as random configurations to test whether the predictability of the target associated with the topological property has the superiority relative to the Euclidean property. In Experiment one, a classic contextual cuing task was performed. Four types of configurations were randomly presented in the experiment. Experiment two was divided into two sessions, the studying session and the testing session. In the studying session, 24 configurations were repeated throughout the entire session, which was used to develop the learning effect. In the testing session, the previous 24 configurations were transformed into three groups, the topological repeated configurations, the Euclidean repeated configurations and the combined configurations. Meanwhile, eight random configurations were introduced as the baseline to measure the contextual cuing effect. In Experiment three, after the regularities of contexts had been learned, the topological properties of the target (experiment 3a) or distractors (experiment 3b) had been changed respectively. We explore whether topological changed configurations could capture attention by generating “new object” or lift the bound between topological regularities of the context and corresponding spatial layouts. In Experiment one, the main effects and the interaction between configuration and epoch were significant, indicating that all the three different repeated configurations obtained a remarkable contextual cuing effect. Further analysis showed that the reaction time in topological repeated configuration was faster than that in the random configuration in the 1st epoch, while the Euclidean repeated configuration had faster RTs than the random configuration from the 2nd epoch. In Experiment two, only the main effect of epoch was significant for the studying session, revealing an obvious learning effect. After configurations transformed, compared to the matched configurations in the learning session, RTs in both the topological repeated configuration and the Euclidean repeated configuration were significantly increased. Furthermore, the RTs of the topological repeated configuration were faster than the random configuration, while the RTs of the Euclidean repeated configuration were slower than the random configuration. The results demonstrated that the object’s property played an important role in contextual cuing effect, and the stability of topological-target associations made a greater contribution than Euclidean-target associations did in maintaining the contextual cuing effect. In Experiment three, both sub-experiments showed a significant learning effect in the studying session. For the testing session of Experiment 3a, the reaction time was not affected when the topological property of the target has changed. However, the accuracy of the topological changed configuration was significantly decreased than the topological repeated configuration of the Experiment 3b. Thus, Experiment three clarified the increased reaction time in the Euclidean repeated configuration, suggesting that contextual regularities of topological properties were bound to corresponding spatial layout. When topological regularities distorted, the "contextual confusion" came forth and made participants unable to utilize the context to guide attention to the target location effectively. For the first time, we have verified that the associations between objects’ topological property and the target could produce behavioral benefit than the Euclidean associations do. The association could probably be regarded as an informative cue to guide attention to the target location more efficiently. Nevertheless, the predictability of topological configuration takes priorities over Euclidean configuration during the learning course, and the association between objects’ topological property and the target has a more important significance in maintaining the contextual cuing effect.
