  • Bibliometric Analysis of Advances in mHealth Technology Application in Chronic Disease Management

    Abstract: Background The research related to mHealth technology in chronic disease management has developed rapidly in recent years,however,the research trends,hotspots and cutting-edge issues in this field remain unclear. Objective To systematically review the application and development of mHealth technology in chronic disease management and provide reference for future research. Methods Using Web of Science Core Collection and PubMed as the source of literature data,the relevant literature was searched from 1997 to 2022 by CiteSpace 6.1.R 3 software on October 18,2022,restricting the language to English,and excluding conference papers,conference abstracts,online publications,editorials,letters,book chapters,news,and other non-compliant contents. National regions,disciplinary intersections and keywords were analyzed to grasp the current status and hotspots of related research internationally,and the cutting-edge issues and research trends of mHealth technology in chronic disease management were comprehensively analyzed using keywords clustering analysis,keywords bursting analysis and timeline views. Results A total of 7 622 papers were finally included in the study,with a significant growth trend in the volume of publications starting from 2011,in which the United States contributed the most with a total of 2 645(34.70%). The journals in which the papers were published were mainly in the fields of medicine,psychology and health;and the top five high-frequency keywords were chronic disease(711 times),nursing(695 times),management(544 times),intervention(502 times) and health(448 times). A total of 10 meaningful clusters were formed,which can be categorized into 4 dimensions of research tools,research theories and methods,research objects,and research factors;combining with keywords bursting and timeline view,the hot issues mainly focus on telemedicine,telecare,and digital health. Conclusion The international research fervor for the application of mHealth technology in chronic disease management has continued,and the field of research has shifted from medicine to health science,with the focus on intervention research on chronic diseases through mHealth technology and the use of digital technology to provide integrated telehealth services for chronic diseases. It is suggested that our scholars should pay attention to the application of mHealth and digital technologies in chronic disease management,find high-quality health services for patients with chronic diseases in China through intervention studies,and provide strategies and suggestions for the high-quality development of chronic disease services and management in China.

  • Analysis of clinical characteristics of essential hypertension complicated with sarcopenia

    Abstract: Background  With the aging of the global population, the incidence of sarcopenia will continue to rise, and it is estimated that there will be about 200 million SAR patients worldwide by the middle of the century [1]. Essential hypertension and sarcopenia are common diseases in the elderly. In the past, these diseases were considered to be separate diseases with no correlation between them. In fact, most of the above-mentioned diseases exist simultaneously in the elderly population, and most patients with essential hypertension are accompanied by sarcopenia. However, there are relatively few studies on essential hypertension and sarcopenia in China at present. Obejective  To understand the prevalence of sarcopenia in middle-aged and elderly patients with essential hypertension, to clarify the risk factors of sarcopenia in patients with essential hypertension. To provide reference for secondary prevention and early intervention of sarcopenia in middle-aged and elderly patients with hypertension. Methods  A total of 107 patients with essential hypertension ≥50 years old who were admitted to the Geriatrics Department of Yunnan First People's Hospital from December 2020 to December 2021 were collected. General information, nutritional status, sarcopenia screening indicators and laboratory indicators were collected, and subjects were divided into sarcopenia group and non-sarcopenia group.Data collection is entered with SPSS 25.0 statistical analysis. Two independent sample T test or rank-sum test was used for comparison between quantitative data groups, and c2 test was used for comparison between counting data groups. Binary logistic regression was used to explore the risk factors of sarcopenia in essential hypertension patients. ROC curve was used to evaluate the predictive value of BMI for sarcopenia in essential hypertension patients.Results Among 107 essential hypertension patients, the prevalence of sarcopenia was 49.5%, 59.7% in males and 35.6% in females, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Binary logistic regression analysis showed that: Female (OR=0.175, 95%CI 0.059-0.518,P < 0.05), overweight (OR=0.039, 95%CI 0.003-0.513, P < 0.05), obesity (OR=0.019, 95%CI 0.001-0.459, P < 0.05), high level of 25-hydroxyvitamin D(OR=0.914,95%CI 0.843-0.991,P< 0.05) and high nutritional score (OR=0.832, 95%CI 0.697-0.992, P < 0.05) were protective factors for sarcosis. Advanced age (OR=1.139, 95%CI 1.073-1.209,P < 0.001), higher systolic blood pressure (OR=1.038, 95%CI 1.001-1.076,P < 0.05), higher diastolic blood pressure (OR=1.095, 95%CI 1.035-1.159, P< 0.05) were risk factors for sarcopenia. Conclusion  The prevalence of sarcopenia is high in middle-aged and elderly patients with essential hypertension. male, old age, high systolic and diastolic blood pressure are risk factors for sarcopenia; overweight, obesity, high level of vitamin D and good nutrition are protective factors for sarcopenia.

  • Do numbers have shape? The matching effect between precise numerical information and brand logo shape

    Abstract: Numerical information, such as time, temperature, prices, and product quality ratings, is widely used in our daily lives. As a representation of abstract concepts, numbers have been found to be associated with a concrete concept representation, which is spatial position. Our study enriches this line of research by exploring the association between numbers and shapes. Our study suggests that individuals may project shape information to precise or round numbers. Specifically, precise numbers (round numbers) are likely to be associated with angular shapes (circular shape). Marketing communication materials that feature angular (circular) brand logo shapes may result in favorable evaluations when the numerical information of the product is precise (round). In the present study, we conducted four experiments to test the hypotheses. Study 1 used an Implicit Association Test to examine the implicit association between numbers and shapes. A total of 39 undergraduate students participated in study 1 (19 men) and were instructed to sort a series of stimuli (numerical and shape stimuli) into two categories as quickly as possible. In compatible blocks, the two categories were “precise or angular” and “round or circular.” In incompatible blocks, the two categories were “round or angular” and “precise or circular.” Study 2 sought to investigate the marketing implications of this association. A total of 125 adults (56 men) were shown an advertisement of a quilt. The advertisement contained no other information except the brand logo and numerical information. After reading the product information, all participants were asked to indicate their product attitudes. Study 3 investigated the mediation role of processing fluency. A total of 200 adult participants (105 men) were provided with information about a laptop bag. After reading the product information, all participants were asked to indicate their product evaluation and processing fluency. Study 4 investigated the boundary effect of concept association (“precise = male” vs. “precise = female”). The procedures consisted of two phases. A total of 244 adults completed a job perception study in phase 1, where the association of the salience concept was manipulated by asking the participants to rate 10 different jobs. In phase 2, the participants were shown an advertisement of a pad and were asked to indicate their perception on the product. In studies 2–4, numerical precision was manipulated through a description of product size, price, weight, or review scores. The results of study 1 show that the participants classified compatible blocks faster than incompatible blocks. This finding supports the hypothesis that numerical precision and shapes are connected. Precise numbers were indeed associated with angular shape , whereas round numbers were associated with circular shape. The results of studies 2–4 confirm the marketing implications of the association between numbers and shapes. Marketing communications with an angular (circular) brand logo shape may result in favorable evaluations when the product numerical information is precise (round). Moreover, study 4 found the moderating effect of concept association. Consistent with the reasoning, when participants were informed with the “female= precise” association, the association between numerical precision and brand logo shape was reversed. This research contributes to the literature of numerical cognition and brand logo shape. It provides managers with guidelines on brand logo design and product numerical information setting "

  • 不同比例全株玉米青贮饲粮对生长猪生产性能、养分利用、血液学指标和血清氧化应激指标的影响

    Abstract:本试验旨在研究不同比例全株玉米青贮饲粮对生长猪生产性能、养分利用、血液学指标和血清氧化应激指标的影响。选取胎次、体重[(33.16±3.49) kg]相近的生长猪(杜×长×大)32头,随机分为4组,每组8个重复。对照组饲喂基础饲粮,营养水平参照NY/T 65-2004中瘦肉型猪饲养标准供给,试验组分别饲喂含20%、30%和40%全株玉米青贮的试验饲粮,上述4种饲粮养分含量(干物质基础)差异不显著(P>0.05),粗纤维含量依次为3.0%、3.5%、4.0%和4.5%。试验猪单独饲养于代谢笼中,预试期7 d,正试期42 d。结果显示:随着饲粮中全株玉米青贮比例的增加,生长猪的末重、平均日增重、养分(干物质、有机质、粗蛋白质、粗脂肪和总能)表观消化率、蛋白质生物学价值、净蛋白质利用率、总能代谢率、血红蛋白浓度和血清铜蓝蛋白含量呈线性降低(P0.05),但40%全株玉米青贮组的末重、平均日增重、养分表观消化率、血液血红蛋白浓度和血清铜蓝蛋白含量均显著降低(P<0.05)。由此得出,全株玉米青贮可用于生长猪低营养水平饲粮的配制,使用比例为20%~30%时能保障生产性能,并可改善健康状况。
