    Abstract: A large number of studies take an “ability” perspective on children’s early mathematical development. They mainly concentrated on children’s early mathematical knowledge and skills, thereby ignoring other possibly relevant aspects of young children’s early mathematical competence. This study focuses on spontaneous focusing on numerosity (SFON), which is a tendency of individuals to spontaneously pay attention to numerosity-related information in the environment. SFON is likely to be the basis for most other mathematical focusing tendencies, but its association with spontaneous attention to a number (SAN), spontaneously focusing on arabic number symbols (SFONS), and spontaneous focusing on quantitative relations (SFOR) remains to be clarified. As one of domain-specific predictors of mathematical performance, the development trajectory and mechanism of SFON should be paid in future research. The mechanism of SFON may be explored from mathematical motivation and math anxiety, and the measurement of SFON should be improved and innovated. Meanwhile, the research on educational intervention of SFON also should be promoted.

    Abstract: Objective To determine the levels of urinary soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (sICAM-1) and vascular cellular adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1) in patients with lupus nephritis (LN), and explore their correlation with renal disease activity. Methods Urine samples were collected from 92 renal biopsy-proven LN patients and 20 healthy controls. Renal disease activity was determined according to the ISN/RPS 2003 Revised Classification of Lupus Nephritis. The urine levels of sICAM-1 and VCAM-1 were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, and the expressions of intrarenal ICAM-1 and VCAM-1 were evaluated by immunohistochemisty staining. Results Urinary sICAM-1 and VCAM-1 levels were elevated in LN patients compared with the controls. Significantly higher levels of urinary sICAM-1 and VCAM-1 were found in patients with active LN, who had also significantly increased intrarenal expressions of ICAM-1 and VCAM-1 compared with patients in remission. A strong positive correlation was noted between intrarenal expression and urine levels of ICAM-1 and VCAM-1. The receiver-operating characteristic (ROC) curve of urine sICAM-1 showed tan area under ROC curve of 0.874 for all participants in the test. A cutoff of 1095.00 pg/mg creatinine yielded a good sensitivity (0.945) and specificity (0.789). The ROC curve of urine VCAM-1 showed an area under ROC of 0.882 for all the participants, and a cutoff of 898.11 pg/mg creatinine yielded a good sensitivity (0.982) and specificity (0.667). Conclusion Urine sICAM-1 and VCAM-1 levels are positively correlated with their intrarenal expressions and reflect the activity of the nephritis, and therefore they may serve as potential biomarkers for early diagnosis of active LN.

    Abstract:肉桂酰辅酶A还原酶(cinnamoyl-CoA reductase, CCR)是催化木质素合成特异途径的第一个限速酶,对木质素的合成起关键作用。本文从中间锦鸡儿中克隆了两个CCR基因,CiCCR2和CiCCR3,其中CiCCR2基因开放阅读框为897bp,编码299个氨基酸,CiCCR3基因开放阅读框为966bp,编码322个氨基酸。过表达CiCCR2和CiCCR3转基因拟南芥株系幼苗期和成熟期木质素含量均高于野生型,组织化学染色也表明转基因株系木质素积累较野生型拟南芥多,且转基因株系鲜重和干重显著高于野生型。

    Abstract:白藜芦醇是一种具有多种医疗保健作用的植物芪类次生代谢产物,在农业、医药、食品和化妆品等领域受到广泛的关注。白藜芦醇合酶是白藜芦醇生物合成中唯一必需的关键酶,决定植物体内白藜芦醇的合成。本研究将从中间锦鸡儿中克隆到的CiRS基因(GenBank登录号MF678590)转入野生型拟南芥,实验结果显示:野生型的总黄酮含量明显高于转基因株系。HPLC测得转基因拟南芥中有白藜芦醇的生成,并且含量最高达335μg/g FW。紫外照射处理后转基因植物中丙二醛的积累量明显少于野生型。转基因植物提取物DPPH自由基清除能力均高于野生型。这些结果表明,中间锦鸡儿CiRS基因异源表达后利用黄酮类物质的底物合成了白藜芦醇,使得转基因植物的抗氧化性增强。
