Abstract: [Purpose/significance] This paper reviews Mr. Meng Liansheng’s research achievements in resource construction and literature information retrieval, and reviews his practical experience in this field to show the striving and exploring spirit of the older generation of library and information scholars. [Method/process] Studying the research results and working manuscripts of Mr. Meng Liansheng by applying the method of literature research and interviews, the summary was made from two aspects of information resource construction and information resource retrieval. [Result/conclusion] Mr. Meng Liansheng studies library and information science from a wide range of sources. He has not only rich theoretical research results, but also rich practical experience in the database construction of Chinese Academy of Sciences and NSTL, which has realized the integration of theory and practice. He explores the characteristics of information retrieval and the way of digital resources service, which richens the theoretical research and practical system of resource construction and information retrieval.

Abstract: Writing and reading are both developed on the basis of written language and share some common neural mechanisms. Writing can affect reading processing due to that reading not only relies on visual processing, but also relies on writing motor representation. Different ways of writing have different effects on reading, i.e., traditional writing promotes reading processing, whilst typing impedes the reading processing to some extent. For Chinese readers, traditional writing promotes reading processing by strengthening orthographic representation, however, the effect of typing on reading processing is still controversial. In the future, we should investigate the different neural mechanisms underlying different writing approaches. More importantly, we should focus on the influence of typing on Chinese character processing.

Abstract: Moringa oleifera is a perennial tropical deciduous tree species, which has high economic value and cultivation purpose. In order to investigate the effects of different water (W) and nitrogen (N) additions on the root growth and traits of Moringa oleifera, we explored the response of root growth (e.g., root length, surface area, volume and average diameter of coarse and fine roots) of Moringa oleifera seedlings to the coupling of different soil water and nitrogen availability. There were three soil W gradients including 40% (W1), 60% (W2), 80% (W3) of field saturated water capacity (SWC), and four N application levels N0 (0 g穚lant-1), N1 (0.6 g穚lant-1), N2 (1.8 g穚lant-1), and N3 (3.6 g穚lant-1). Abstract:书写和阅读是在文字的基础上发展起来的, 二者存在共享的神经网络。书写能影响阅读, 阅读不仅依靠视觉加工, 还依赖书写运动表征。不同书写方式对阅读的影响不同, 传统书写对阅读有促进作用, 电脑打字对阅读产生了一定的消极影响。对汉字来说, 传统书写能加强汉字的正字法表征, 促进汉字阅读; 电脑打字对汉字阅读的影响尚无一致结论。未来研究可以考察传统书写与电脑打字神经机制的差异, 以及电脑打字对汉字认知加工的影响及神经机制。

Abstract: Traditional sentiment analysis of micro-blog often ignore the influence of sentiment words that have no sentimental color on micro-blog sentiment, and lack of analysis for complex sentence. To solve the problem, this paper proposed a method of cross-grained sentiment analysis based on conditional random filed and complex sentence, which fused complex sentence and semantic dependency features on the basis of CRF. It can identify sentiment elements by analyzing micro-blog sentiment in fine-grained. The method of coarse-grained sentiment analysis based on complex sentence was used to analyze sentimental tendency of student micro-blog. Finally, the experimental results show that the accuracy on sentiment elements can reach 88%, furthermore, the accuracy of micro-blog sentimental tendency can reach 87%. Compare to traditional method, the method we proposed has higher accuracy and better performance.

Abstract: Objective To study the effect of allitridum on rapidly delayed rectifier potassium current (IKr) in HEK293 cell line. Methods HEK293 cells were transiently transfected with HERG channel cDNA plasmid pcDNA3.1 via Lipofectamine. Allitridum was added to the extracellular solution by partial perfusion after giga seal at the final concentration of 30 μmol/L. Whole-cell patch clamp technique was used to record the HERG currents and gating kinetics before and after allitridum exposure at room temperature. Results The amplitude and density of IHERG were both suppressed by allitridum in a voltage-dependent manner. In the presence of allitridum, the peak current of IHERG was reduced from 73.5±4.3 pA/pF to 42.1±3.6 pA/pF at the test potential of +50 mV (P<0.01). Allitridum also concentration-dependently decreased the density of the IHERG . The IC 50 of allitridum was 34.74 μmol/L with a Hill coefficient of 1.01. Allitridum at 30 μmol/L caused a significant positive shift of the steady-state activation curve of I HERG and a markedly negative shift of the steady-state inactivation of IHERG , and significantly shortened the slow time constants of I HERG deactivation. Conclusion Allitridum can potently block IHERG in HEK293 cells, which might be the electrophysiological basis for its anti-arrhythmic action.
