  • Effects of Health Coaching Combined with Wearable Devices on Glucose and Lipid Metabolism and Self-management Behavior in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

    Abstract: Background Type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) has become a public health burden facing the whole world,with the rapid development of Internet and digital technology,intelligent service model plays an important role in the management of patients with T2DM. Objective To explore the effectiveness of wearable devices combined with health coaching in patients with T2DM. Methods A total of 315 patients with T2DM who were hospitalized in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University from June 2020 to June 2021 were selected as the study subjects,and divided into the control group, the intervention A group and the intervention B group based on the method of randomized numerical table,the control group implemented the routine management measures based on capillary blood glucose monitoring,the intervention A group adopted the wearable devices for routine management,the intervention B group was managed by wearable devices combined with health coaching. The differences in glycemic and lipid control status and self-management behaviors among the three groups before and 3,6,9 and 12 months after intervention were compared. Results A total of 15 lost visits were made during the implementation of the study,and 300 study subjects were finally included in the analysis,with 100 in each of the three groups. There was an interaction between intervention method and time in the three groups on 2-hour postprandial blood glucose(2 hPG),glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c),number of hypoglycemic episodes,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C),self-management behaviors of diabetes mellitus (2-DSCS),and self-management behaviors of diabetic patients (SDSCA) scores(P<0.05). There was a significant main effect of intervention method on the number of hypoglycemic episodes,total cholesterol(TC), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),2-DSCS and DSCS scores(P<0.05). The main effect of time was significant on all indicators except the number of hypoglycemic episodes(P<0.05). The levels of HbA1c,FBG,2 hPG,TC at 3,6, 9,and 12 months after the intervention in each group were lower than those before the intervention in the same group,and the level of 2-DSCS and DSCS scores of T2DM patients were higher than those before the intervention in the same group. After 3 months of intervention, the number of hypoglycemic episodes were lower in the intervention B group than in the intervention A group and control group(P<0.05);after 6 months of intervention,the 2hPG level and the TC level in the intervention B group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05),HDL-C level,2-DSCS score,SDSCA score in the intervention A and intervention B groups were higher than the control group(P<0.05),SDSCA score in the intervention B group was higher than the intervention A group(P<0.05);after 9 months of intervention,FBG level,2hPG level,and TC level in the intervention B group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),FBG level and 2hPG level in intervention B group were lower than those in intervention A group,HDL-C level,2-DSCS score,and SDSCA score in the intervention B group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),2-DSCS score and SDSCA score in the intervention B group were higher than those of the intervention A group(P<0.05);after 12 months of intervention,FBG level,2hPG level,HbA1c level,TC level,LDL-C level in the intervention B group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),FBG level,2hPG level,HbA1c level in the intervention B group were lower than those in the intervention A group,HDL-C level,2-DSCS score,and SDSCA score in the intervention B group were higher than those in the control and intervention groups(P<0.05). Conclusion Wearable devices combined with health coaching has short-term and long-term effects in improving the comprehensive control of glucose and lipids,as well as improving self-management ability of them in patients with T2DM.

  • IKAP模式联合OEP对老年糖尿病合并肌少症患者跌倒预防的效果研究

    Abstract: Abstract Objective To study the effect of information knowledge belief behavior (IKAP) model combined with Otago exercise program (OEP) on fall prevention in elderly patients withdiabetes and myopenia. Methods From May 2021 to May 2022, 108 elderly patients with diabetes complicated with myopenia hospitalized in the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolismof the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University were selected and divided into control group A and intervention (B+C) group according to whether the patients were willing to carry out OEP exercise training. The intervention (B+C) group was then divided into intervention groupBand intervention group C using random number table method, with 36 cases in each group. Control group A received routine nursing, intervention group B received routine nursing+OEP, and intervention group C received routine nursing+OEP+IKAP mode nursing. The blood glucose levels (FPG, 2hPG, HbA1c), muscle mass and strength (limb skeletal muscle mass index (ASMI) and grip strength), balance Berg balance scale (BBS) score , mobility timed stand and walk test (TUGT) , fall efficacy fall efficacy energy scale (MFES) score , fall incidence and quality of life diabetes specific quality of life scale (DSQL) score were compared among the three groups. Results After intervention, the levels of FPG, 2hPG, and HbA1c in the three groups decreasedwith the extension of intervention time. After 3, 6, and 9 months of intervention, the levels of FPG, 2hPG, and HbA1c in intervention group C were lower than those in intervention group Bandcontrol group A, while those in intervention group B were lower than those in control groupA(P<0.05). After intervention, the ASMI and grip strength of the three groups increased with the extension of intervention time, and after 3, 6, and 9 months of intervention, the ASMI and gripstrength of the intervention group C were higher than those of the intervention group Band the control group A, while the intervention group B was higher than that of the control group A(P<0.05). After intervention, BBS scores in all three groups increased with the extension of intervention time, while TUGT decreased with the extension of intervention time. After 3, 6, and9months of intervention, BBS scores in intervention group C were higher than those in interventiongroup B and control group A, while intervention group B was higher than that in control group A. At the same time, TUGT in intervention group C was shorter than that in intervention group Bandcontrol group A, while intervention group B was shorter than that in control group A (all P<0.05). After intervention, MFES scores in all three groups increased with the extension of interventiontime, while DSQL scores decreased with the extension of intervention time. After 3, 6, and9months of intervention, MFES scores in intervention group C were higher than those inintervention group B and control group A, while intervention group B was higher than that incontrol group A. At the same time, DSQL scores in intervention group C were lower than those inintervention group B and control group A, while intervention group B was lower than that incontrol group A (all P<0.05). During the follow-up period, the incidence of falls in interventiongroup C was 0 lower than 11.11% (4/36) in intervention group B and 30.56% in control group A, and intervention group B was lower than control group A (both P<0.05). Conclusion IKAP mode combined with OEP can steadily reduce blood glucose in elderly patients with diabetes andmyopenia, enhance muscle quality and strength, improve balance and mobility, improve fall efficiency, effectively prevent falls, and thus help to improve the overall quality of life.

  • 1951—2020 年疏勒河流域气温时空变化特征

    Abstract: The linear tendency, cumulative anomaly, and Mann-Kendall test were used to analyze the temporaland spatial variation of temperature in Dunhuang, Guazhou, and Yumen stations in the Shule River Basin from1951 to 2020. The results revealed that (1) all stations experienced a significant upward trend in averagetemperature, with tendency rates of 0.244 °C·(10a)−1 (P<0.05) for Dunhuang station, 0.209 °C·(10a)−1 (P<0.05)for Guazhou station, and 0.195 ° C · (10a) − 1 (P<0.05) for Yumen station. (2) Dunhuang and Yumen stationsexhibited a significant upward trend in average temperature across all seasons, except for a nonsignificant upwardtrend in summer. (3) the mutation years for average temperature at Dunhuang, Guazhou, and Yumen stations were1998, 1997, and 1995, respectively, with the first main cycles being 58 a, 30 a, and 13 a, respectively. (4) andannual and seasonal average temperatures gradually increased from east to west in the Shule River Basin, withdecreasing nonuniformity coefficients and concentration degrees also observed.
     

  • Thermoelectric Properties of Nb-doped Lead Telluride Allo

    Abstract: Bulk Nb-doped lead telluride Pb1.1Te was prepared by using a combined process of mechanical alloying (MA) and spark plasma sintering (SPS). Then its transport properties such as electrical resistivity, Seebeck coefficient and thermal diffusion coefficient were measured in a temperature range from 323 K to 673 K. As a result, the doped Nb can effectively enhance the phonon scattering ability of the lead telluride Pb1.1Te, and optimize its electrical performance as well. Large power factors of over 20 mW/(cm� K2) were obtained in a wide temperature range (523-623 K). In addition, the thermal conductivity decreased with the increasing Nb content, which may also be resulted from the increase of the phonon scattering ability, thereby an optimal ZT value may be found. A maximum ZT value of 1.27 was obtained for Pb1.03Nb0.07Te at 673 K, which was twice as high as that for the un-doped Pb1.1Te.

  • Effects of Reducing Indoor Air Particles on Cardiovascular and Respiratory Physiological Indexes in The Elderly

    Abstract: Background Exposure to indoor air particles pollution increases the incidence and mortality of respiratory and cardiovascular diseases,especially in the elderly population. Objective To explore the effect of indoor air particles on cardiopulmonary-related physiological indexes of the elderly and short-term use of air purifiers on the improvement of cardiopulmonary health of the elderly. Methods A randomized,double-blind,crossover trial was conducted in January 2020 on 24 healthy older adults selected from a senior apartment in Jiangbei District of Chongqing. These included older adults were randomized equally divided into two groups alternately using real and sham air purifiers for 48 h with a 12-days washout interval. 14 health indexes including biomarkers of circulatory system inflammation,coagulation,oxidative stress and pulmonary function,blood pressure,heart rate,exhaled fractional nitric oxide(FeNO) were measured. Linear mixed-effect model was used to evaluate the effect of the air purifiers on health indexes. Results The results of the linear mixed-effect model showed that compared with the sham purifiers,fibrinogen,MCP-1 and MPO in the blood inflammatory indicators were changed by -15.1%〔95%CI(-23.1%,-6.3%), P<0.05〕,-17.7%〔95%CI(-22.9%,-12.3%), P<0.05〕 and -17.2%〔95%CI(-23.9%,-9.8%), P<0.05〕,PAI-1 and t-PA in the coagulation factors changed by -14.9%〔95%CI(-21.1%,-8.2%),P<0.05〕 and -13.5%〔95%CI(-18.7%,-8.0%), P<0.05〕,heart rate changed by -5.8%〔95%CI(-10.6%,-0.8%), P<0.05〕in the real purifiers,respectively. For every 1 μg/m3 increase in PM2.5 concentration,fibrinogen,MCP-1,MPO,PAI-1,t-PA,D-dimer and heart rate in the elderly increased by 0.51%,0.48%,0.56%,0.49%,0.43%,0.31% and 0.20%,respectively( P<0.05). Conclusion Indoor air purifiers are associated with decreased concentrations of systemic and local inflammation and coagulation biomarkers. Air purification may be a public health measure to improve circulatory and cardiopulmonary health in the elderly.

    Abstract:

    Background: Exposure to particulate indoor air pollution increases respiratory and cardiovascular morbidity and mortality, especially in the elderly in China. Objective: This paper intends to investigate the effects of indoor air particulate matter on cardiopulmonary-related physiological indicators in the elderly and whether short-term use of air purifiers can improve cardiopulmonary health in the elderly. Methods: A randomized, double-blind crossover trial was conducted among 24 healthy older people in an aged-care center in Chongqing, China in 2020. These trial participants were randomized equally into two groups and alternated the use of true or simulated air purifiers for 48 h with a 2-week washout interval. We measured 14 circulatory system biomarkers of inflammation, coagulation, and oxidative stress. Lung function, BP, HR and FeNO were also measured. Linear mixed-effect models were applied to evaluate the effect of the intervention on health outcome variables. The sensitivity analysis was stratified by sex to explore the difference in the protective effect of air purification for older men and women. Results: The concentration of indoor PM dropped by about 70%. Purification was significantly associated with a 11.85% decrease in CRP, 12.52% decrease in fibrinogen, 15.57% decrease in MCP-1, 18.18% decrease in MPO, 16.92% decrease in PAI-1, 12.58% decrease in t-PA, and an 18.37% decrease in FeNO, as well as 5.84% decrease in HR. Conclusion: This intervention study demonstrated that indoor air purification is associated with reduced concentrations of systemic and local inflammation and coagulation biomarkers. The protection of air purification for male is stronger than that for female. Air purification may be a public health measure to improve circulation and cardiopulmonary health in the elderly.

  • miR-101 对结直肠癌细胞SW620 生物学特性的影响

    Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of miR-101 on biological behaviors of colorectal cancer cell line SW620. Methods CCK-8 method, colony formation assay, cell cycle analysis and apoptosis analysis were applied to assess the effects of miR-101 on cell proliferation, invasion and apoptosis of SW620 cells. Results Over-expression of miR-101 in SW620 cells significantly suppressed the cell proliferation and attenuated the colony-forming ability of the cells. Flow cytometry showed that over-expression of miR-101 in SW620 cells caused obvious cell cycle arrest in G2/M and G1 phases, and significantly increased the cell apoptosis rate. Conclusion Over-expression of miR-101 can inhibit the proliferation, cause cell cycle arrest and promote apoptosis of colorectal cancer SW620 cells.

  • 茶皂素对奶牛瘤胃发酵及瘤胃微生物区系的影响

    Abstract:本试验旨在研究茶皂素对奶牛瘤胃微发酵及瘤胃微生物区系的影响。试验选用12头健康状况良好,体重相近的荷斯坦奶牛,随机分为4组,均饲喂基础饲粮,各组分别灌服0(对照)、20、30、40 g/d茶皂素,茶皂素与水混匀灌服,进行预试期14 d,正试期35 d的饲养试验。正试期期间每隔7 d,在晨饲前1 h用口腔采样器采集瘤胃液测定瘤胃发酵指标,用qRT-PCR法测定瘤胃微生物含量。结果表明:1)与对照组相比,茶皂素显著降低了瘤胃液pH(30、40 g/d组)、氨态氮的浓度(20、30、40 g/d组)(P0.05)。2)与对照组相比,茶皂素各组的瘤胃液原虫、溶纤维丁酸弧菌含量均显著降低(P0.05)。综上所述,补饲茶皂素改善了奶牛瘤胃发酵模式,并显著影响了奶牛瘤胃微生物区系,30 g/d的剂量对奶牛较为适宜。

    Abstract:不同信号转导通路间的彼此协调保证了机体的正常运行。在众多的信号通路中,转化生长因子(TGF)β1/Smads信号传导通路越来越受到学者们的关注,已经成为分子生物学和细胞生物学研究的一大热点。已有研究证实,TGF-β1/Smads信号传导通路是调控卵泡发育的重要途径。本文就TGF-β1/Smads信号传导通路与哺乳动物卵巢卵泡的发育进行综述,分别从TGF-β受体、Smads蛋白、骨形态发生蛋白(BMP)、血小板反应蛋白1(THB-S1)、S期激酶相关蛋白1(SKP1)和其他调节机制阐述TGF-β1/Smads信号传导通路在哺乳动物卵巢发育中的调控作用及其机制,旨在引起人们对TGF-β1/Smads调控卵巢发育的关注,并为卵巢发育过程中某些疾病的治疗提供一些参考。

  • 阳极氧化铝膜中间层阻挡元素扩散研究

    Abstract:对铌合金C103基体上真空蒸镀的Al膜进行阳极氧化处理获得阳极氧化铝膜(AAO),利用电镀技术在阳极氧化铝膜上制备Ni表层,通过高温处理研究元素通过阳极氧化铝膜的扩散行为。结果表明:没有中间层的Ni/C103及以纯Al膜作为中间层的Ni/Al/C103样品,涂层和基体间的元素扩散严重;而以AAO膜为中间层的Ni/AAO/C103样品,涂层和基体间的元素扩散受到明显抑制。经900 ℃热处理后,Ni/C103,Ni/Al/C103及Ni/AAO/C103样品其外层中Nb含量分别为7.05%,5.08%和3.55%;基体中的Ni含量分别为6.84%,3.62%和2.85%;AAO膜作为中间层有较强的元素扩散阻挡能力。在900 ℃退火后,Ni/C103和Ni/Al/C103样品表面均生成了NbNi3相,而Ni/AAO/C103样品并未出现Nb和Ni的反应生成物。通过Fick定律计算得知,900℃时Ni在阳极氧化铝膜的扩散系数为3.28×10-14 m2·s-1,Nb为2.16×10-14 m2·s-1;1000℃时Ni的扩散系数上升至1.03×10-13 m2·s-1,Nb为3.58×10-14 m2·s-1。
